5.0 out of 5 stars Best pans in my kitchen!
I couldn't decide what pans to get when I was ready to get rid of my mixed, hand-me-down collection of old pots. Although I was attracted to this set, I delayed for quite a while because I thought having to hand wash pans would be a pain. I was wrong!

This range of cookware is a dreadful waste of money, is does not matter how you follow the care instructions, the nature of the circular design means that if you give these pans any more than the kind of wipe you would give a new born babies bottom, the surface will come off. 5.0 out of 5 stars Best pans in my kitchen!, April 25, 2003
This review is from: Circulon 88825 12-Piece Classic Cookware Set
I couldn't decide what pans to get when I was ready to get rid of my mixed, hand-me-down collection of old pots. Although I was attracted to this set, I delayed for quite a while because I thought having to hand wash pans would be a pain. I was wrong!

I've had a set of Circulon pans for over two years now, and it was the best purchase I ever made. They are so incredibly easy to clean, that you simply swish some soapy water over them and they are done! Nothing sticks, and the finish is incredibly durable.

I've simmered hours of soups, stews, spaghetti sauces, stir fries, etc., in these pans, and they still look like new.

The pans are well made and distribute heat evenly. The circular pattern in the finish seems to help foods brown too.

Warning: the Manufacturer's instructions tell you not to use cooking sprays (like "Pam"), but to use oil instead. (Apparently cooking sprays can get too hot, hurting the finish.) That's the only down side. However, I hope the tiny drizzle of olive oil I use doesn't add too many calories to my dishes!

The Manufacturer's instructions also tell you to hand wash the pans. I believe doing so is why my pans still look like new after years of use. However, my husband did put them through the dishwasher once or twice while I was gone on a trip, and it didn't seem to harm them. (Whew!) So, maybe they can stand up to ONE machine wash! But, hand washing them takes just seconds, so you won't mind doing it.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best cookware I've ever used, September 13, 2002
This review is from: Circulon 88825 12-Piece Classic Cookware Set
Since I purchased my set I've sworn off all other cookware. These pots and pans are simply amazing. Non- stick, easy to clean and a delight to cook with. I can fry in just a teaspoon of oil since the grooves prevent meats from sticking. I don't even mind washing pots and pans anymore since cleanup is a breeze. I don't need any abrasive sponges or cleansers. A regular yellow sponge and some dtergent will get rid of the greasiest, messiest grime you could cook up. I have never been happier in my kitchen.

5.0 out of 5 stars wonderful ware, June 8, 2002
This review is from: Circulon 88825 12-Piece Classic Cookware Set
This set of cookware is absolutely delightful. It is stylish and yet very durable. Light and solid. The handle is solid and you don't wonder if it will hold as you transport a dish. The non-stick surface is just that and requires minimal effort. I also have the utensils made by Circulon and you can tell they are quality too.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Ever!, March 21, 2005
This review is from: Circulon 88825 12-Piece Classic Cookware Set
All that I have to say is that I bought this set about 1 year ago and I love it. Nothing sticks to them. I make my own pasta sauce and with other pots it would burn to the bottom and I would have to throw them away. Not with these pots and pans.

5.0 out of 5 stars 4 Years of Bliss, May 16, 2005

This review is from: Circulon 88825 12-Piece Classic Cookware Set
We have had a twelve-piece set of Circulon for four years now and couldn't be happier. I cook (badly) with them and am always amazed at how ridiculously easy they are to clean. Everything wipes away with water and cloth. My wife is an avid cook and really puts them through their paces, but they are still perfect after all these years. The skillets, which often get used multiple times in a day, show carbon deposits on the steel rivets, but still have a flawless surface. Some of the pieces could literally go into a box and be returned to the store. I can't imagine when we would ever have to replace these, but if we did it wouldn't require any research this time; I'd just buy another set.

1.0 out of 5 stars Please don't believe the hype!, March 20, 2005
This review is from: Circulon 88825 12-Piece Classic Cookware Set
This range of cookware is a dreadful waste of money, is does not matter how you follow the care instructions, the nature of the circular design means that if you give these pans any more than the kind of wipe you would give a new born babies bottom, the surface will come off. I followed the instructions to the letter, I spent hours of wasted time trying to get them to work, thinking it was may fault and trying to come up with solutions. I eventually bought a specialised "anodized" pan cleaner by astonish (nothing wrong with the cleaner, my Sister uses it on her anodized pans, it works a treat for her but she has a different make of pan). Nothing worked, in 6 months the coating had gone from all the pans, except the milk pan which i had never used but which gave a good comparison.
The company will not want to know, it doesn't matter if you are honest, I was but they stated I must have mistreated the pans and the wear and tear was my own fault. The Gaurantee is as rubbish as the pans, the people who praise thes pans must have personal Chefs! PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED CASH ON THESE TERRIBLE PANS! 1 star because they are rubbish and the company or their agents treat customers with contempt and very shoddily! If the software would allow me to give them NO STARS I would!

4.0 out of 5 stars Circulon Pots, August 14, 2009
This review is from: Circulon 88825 12-Piece Classic Cookware Set
Very nice pans!! Only problem is they are very bottom heavy, very thick metal and they seem to take a long time to heat up. Exspecally under low to medium heat.

5.0 out of 5 stars Never again...., October 19, 2007
This review is from: Circulon 88825 12-Piece Classic Cookware Set
....will I think of purchasing anything but Calphalon's Circulon line. I've had my pots and pans for 8 years now and they are still in excellent shape. They are used daily and are excellent in their ability, shape and heft. They're easy to clean, easy to keep up with and are a pleasure to cook with.

1.0 out of 5 stars disappointed, September 8, 2006
By
This review is from: Circulon 88825 12-Piece Classic Cookware Set
I have a Circulon wok-type pan/pot -- and am very disappointed with it. I followed the instructions to a "T" and it has not had a tremendous amount of use -- and I am a very careful person in general -- and the finish in the center of the pan/pot is worn off -- I would not buy again

2.0 out of 5 stars Totally Unacceptable !, June 5, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Circulon 88825 12-Piece Classic Cookware Set
How can you use cookware that you can't get hot??! Want to sear some ahi tuna? Forget it. Cook a large batch of pasta? Have a good book handy while you wait for the water to boil on medium heat! Your cooking times will double, and if you try to rush the process by using high heat you'll end up with cookware that sticks badly.

What's next, a Circulon line of stemware that is ruined if you put liquids in them?
