The reasons I bought this item are the sale price, oil drain indent around the sides w/ a pouring spout, and exceptional quality. I will never have to purchase another as it should outlive me. The only downside for some may be the weight.The glass bacon press is a nice add on, but since it's glass it may be easily chipped. I doubt it will break since it is thick and seems well made. When I compared this model to other brands that were only $10-15 cheaper,(I paid under 40), there was no comparison-hands down this was the best bang for the buck!

I was looking into buying one of the Circulon double griddles since I do a lot of brunches at my place. I was torn between the different ones until this one went on clearance and fell in price dramatically. It is very nice and the bacon press is extra lovely. Be sure to read the safety/care instructions so that you don't crack your press by extreme temperature changes. Unlike the other double griddles in the Circulon line, the Elite one has a well/trough around the edge for grease run-off. This makes it larger (13"x20") than the other Circulon double griddles (10"x18") and almost too large for my stove. I'm considering giving this double griddle to my mother, keeping the bacon press and ordering one from the Circulon 2 or Circulon Total lines.

I love my grill. It stays on top of my stove. It doesn't stick. It's easy to clean, and the glass meat press is better quality than I thought it would be. It, too, is easy to clean.

This griddle does not have a flat bottom, but a recessed bottom; therefore, it can not be used on a glass top surface unit. Liked the glass bacon press which I thought was better than cast iron for the nonstick surface. I am purchasing a Circulon 2 18-by-10-Inch Double Burner Griddle which I believe is flat bottomed. I love the size, I love the pouring lip, I love the handles and the press. Brunch is a breeze, we also use the griddle for reheating last nights pizza. First we heat the crust then flip the pizza over and heat the cheese and topping.. Nothing sticks, cleans up easy.
THIS IS THE BEST GRIDDLE!!

great quality, grease spout, makes great pancakes. Just what I had been looking for. Always had a plug in griddle in the past, but am very happy with this.
