Having been through several non-stick products, including an expensive set of Calphalon, I have found the perfect pan for my smooth top stove. The other pans eventually warped and were not able to be put into the dishwasher (a big deal to my husband). I have this pan for about 3 months now, and it is used about every day. It is still gorgeous and shows no sign of warping. The lid is also nice and hefty and seals to the pan perfectly.

I was kind of leery about the rings in the bottom and was just sure that it would be a problem with food getting stuck. Not at all. Now that I have tried one of these wonderful pans, I intend to buy a whole set. Way to go, Circulon.

We decided on the Cirulon Infinite cookware after looking at a lot of other brands. The quality and versatility makes this affordable (a relative term, I know) line of cookware a great value. After 6 months of heavy use, we are more than pleased with the durability and performance.

* Very Thick Bottoms - Allows for even heating of cooking surface

* Great Nonstick Surface - Really nonstick, no issues at all - DO NOT use nonstick sprays or "heavy oils" as these will ruin the nonstick properties (read the instructions)!

* Requires Less Oils - We were able to cut way back on the amount of cooking oils we use

* Durable

* Oven Safe

* Dishwasher Safe

*Important* Follow the manufactures instructions and you will have great results.

Pan is very high quality. It's well designed with a helper handle. The only downside so far is that it's VERY heavy. Like other thick-bottomed pans, it takes a long time to heat up, but the thick bottom also prevents the warping that so often happens with thinner saute pans. The main reason I bought this pan is that I love the Circulon hi-lo non-stick interiors because they are very durable.

Note: I bought a very similar Calphalon saute pan last year; the nonstick coating started bubbling up and peeling off the Calphalon pan within a month until the stuff was actually coming off into the food. I had to throw away an otherwise high-quality pan because of the inferior coating. I've had the same experience with all other brands of nonstick pans...the coating just doesn't last.
