The reader should be warned that this book is a historical, religiously-sanctioned look at circumcision from a time when we knew MUCH LESS than we do now. In spite of the book's title, there are no "moral and physical reasons" for circumcision because the very notion contains flawed reasoning. ANY surgery that violates individual rights cannot be tolerated in the 21st century, no matter what the "reason". This is especially true when we consider the mutilation of the perfectly healthy genitalia of a newborn baby, regardless of sex.Overall, this is a highly disturbing and incredibly biased book, and I question its publication as an ebook on Amazon's Kindle Store without a thorough disclaimer. I do not recommend that anyone read this book, and would instead suggest: "Circumcision, The Hidden Trauma" by Ronald Goldman or "Marked in Your Flesh" by Leonard B. Glick.
