Menu:Very simple menu system. Music in menu is great circus/carnival style mostly, games are also same style, but some are very slow & depressing which kills fun. No name for profile, only choose one of few animals cartoon photos. Easy, med & hard difficulties. I played this on easy to test first. Long loading times before/after games considering limited graphics. Too basic instructions are given during loading times, have to figure out more in game though least loading time least shows it. No restart after game. All games have timers, but no scoring before or after in main adventure mode to unlock games. Just audience "clap-o-meter" that shows up on/off & yay & boos occasionally, but not enough to know 1st time if doing it right. I noticed some issues w/programming. There is some effort put into this game, but it's mostly sloppy/lazy. Storyline - simple, very short & uses 3D photos which is very lazy. Father, mother & son go to circus, tickets get lost in wind, son runs away after it, hears scheme from bad guy to get land from government that is suppose to only be used for circus to be turned into a uniform factory, by making circus boring & unprofitable, ringmaster helps. *roll eyes* 1st Tent: Ape - point w/remote IR & B to shoot blimps & planes, Z & shake nunchuck to reload so ape can raise tent as he climbs pole. Hard to reload & only get 3 shots at a time. Clown Tight walk - balance wii mote left/right as birds land on pole he's holding, balancing makes him walk fwd. balance seemed too easy. Knife throwing at assistant on revolving wheel - throw knives at it & don't hit her, bonus points for hitting balloons on it. Same controls as Ape plus shake nunchuck to throw. Tiger in cage - tiger, monkeys, hippos & green animal? In 8 diff cages that open/close. Feed them the right food as it passes on conveyer belt: meat, grass, banana & fish by using remote IR to point & A to grab/hold food & nunchuck to throw at correct animal. 2nd Tent: Magic - memory game, point with remote IR & turn card over by shaking nunchuck, hard to get nunchuck to respond. Ship - pull back on nunchck stick & point w/remote IR to burst fireworks & water balloons & hit tiny clown & monkey on pirate ship. Have to hold stick back a second to get it to respond. Cards on string shooting Gallery - shoot birds on cards & whatever random animal card only that cycles on the lower left, don't hit jokers or others, get star cards for bonus (soon as point, it disappears, cheater program). Same controls as Ape. Woman in dunking pool - hit moving target that changes sizes as hit, avoid monkey jumping on trampoline in front of it. Same controls as knife throwing, nunchuck response was perfect. 3rd Tent: Elephant's peanuts - catch mice from stealing Elephant's pile of peanuts he's guarding. IR point, A to grab mouse, nunchuck to shake peanuts from him & shake again "to throw mouse away". Hard to sense depth, mice run in random zig zag ways. Kid hiding behind cardboard characters - Take photo of kids, hit clown & monkeys w/pies. Point with remote IR, shake nunchuck to throw pie, A to take photo. Lazy program that only kids who run around & sometimes turn into clown. Monkeys do walk slow to push cardboard. Bottle shooting gallery - hit the orange juice? bottles, milk bottles for bonus, avoid monkey. Same controls as ape. In game realize you hit whatever bottles it says each time doors open/close, sometimes have to shoot lock off. Ducks - drop magnet like a claw to grab ducks in whatever hats it tells you going by in 3 conveyer belt like waterways, blue ones bonus, avoid mouse in tiny boats. Cut scene bad jokes, father looking for son tells clown not what his son looks like, but that his son is always sticky, has "backsass" & complains his son always noisy. Bad guy complains to ringmaster audience seems too happy. Monkeys use cannon on boy. WEIRD 4th Tent: Escaping mice - shoot balloons in sky that mice holding, hit paper plane mice in for bonus. Don't hit rockets. Actually very nice graphics, reminds me of Link's Crossbow training night sky shooting of fruit fireworks. Same controls as Ship, but works better. Frogs - Simon says with croaking frogs in diff colors that sometimes change positions. Same controls as Ship & Escaping Mice. Monkey will try to distract. Strength test bell - pump target with nunchuck shake, A to grab hammer, swing remote to power throw & B & flick to throw hammer. (Really have to swing it up high & takes a while for meter to notice effort) mice jumps on bell ringer which will make any swing almost pointless, not sure how to knock him off it. Baseball Plate Gallery - hit mice & snake plates. Hitting plates better then letting mice topple them. Point & shake nunchuck to throw, Z & shake nunchuck to reload 3 balls at a time. 5th Tent: Whack a mole - use pointer & nunchuck to swing, avoid moles in garbage cans that electrify. Takes effort to really point because of depth of distance. Lion floating - hit birds & flying saucers, not balloons. Usual shooting controls w/B & nuncnhuck Z to reload. Serve Hot Dogs - put ketchup, mustard or green bottle condiments on the right hot dogs as they come down. Sometimes 3 dogs at a time. Point & A to pick/hold condiment & nunchuck to squirt & hit button on conveyer belt to finish. Scary ride - Shoot bats, mummy, vampire, pumpkinhead, monkey, etc,. don't hit horse as ride in spooky mansion. Cut scene Too simple/easy & unrealistic an ending. Quickplay has multiplayer & does do scores at the end or sometimes in play & gives top 3. Can shoose difficulty for player in game loading area. I did have some effort with idea of shaking nunchuck to throw AND for reloading w/Z button, try it yourself, kinda weird to get used to. This game has a lot of games, but needed much more work.

Most of the games require the same movements with a combination of remote and nunchuk. Most of the games are boring after one try. The Dark ride shooting game almost makes it worth buying the whole game. if you can find it on sale, it might be worth a bit of fun. Go for Wii Carnival instead.

I purchased this game, and was so sorry I did. I found it a pain to have to use both the wii controller and the nunchuck at the same time. Games were not enjoyable to me at all.

I was looking for a non-sports game that would be fun for the whole family. While the games aren't bad, the time it takes to load each time is painfully slow. If I knew then what I know now, I would not have purchased this game.

I bought this thinking it would be great for my son. Thankfully I test things out before I actually sit down and try to teach him. He is 6, and Mildly Autistic so some games are harder for him than others. But I am a fully functioning, fairly intelligent adult. And I found this game to be frustrating. Sure it has plenty of games to choose from, but most take so many extra steps to complete the task. Like the game where you hit the bell to make it go up and ring. You have to swing one arm around your head so many times, until it registers basically, then hit. Just not a family friendly game in my opinion. Don't buy this, its not a cheap version of the Carnival games. Its a pitiful knockoff.

I am so drained of energy from enduring this game that this review will be brief. There is simply no excuse for game design like this. I have games from the late 90s with significantly better graphics. One has to wait as much as 30 seconds for menus to load up between EVERY SINGLE STAGE of game-play, including simply re-starting one of the ridiculously short games (after having my son told repeatedly "YOU LOSE!" Nice touch, that). This requires you to WAIT for the main menu to load up, then WAIT for your game to load up, then WADE through the cryptically graphical, totally uninformative instructions...a total of about 1.5 minutes of waiting to have another go at a lame, two-minute game (which, once started, you cannot exit, but have to either play or wait out). Life is too short. The cursor is VERY twitchy and not at all configurable. Even with my quite decent fine-motor skills, it took frustrating effort to draw and keep a bead on any of the items I was supposed to shoot, grab, etc. Even selecting the endless succession of "NEXT" arrows was difficult. On those games in which you have to hold aim with the Wiimote and swing, shoot, re-load, etc with the nun-chuck (i.e., pretty much *every* fracking game) it took absurd amounts of effort to keep the cursor centered. This is a game which my 4.5 year-old son repeatedly described as "really lame." Indeed. And I suspect that, with a week-end course in game design, he could almost certainly produce a better one. Serioulsy: Spare yourself.

Likes:A few of the games are fun. Family friendly. Dislikes: Between each game there is a load up screen, which takes forever and is quite irritating. Controls for some games are touchy or just don't work properly. Controls are unnecessarily complicated for some of the games. Use of the nunchuck is sometimes required when it would make more sense to just use the Wii remote. Even the fun games get old quickly and require so much load up time that you'll be reluctant to keep playing after one or two plays.

I bought this game for my small children (4 year olds) and they said it was boring, not fun, too hard to play with the 2 controllers. What a waste - stick to the well known characters for little ones. This game is a waste of $20!!!!

I was not paying attention when I purchased this game and wanted Go Play Circus and what a mistake! This is awful. I own the Carnival game which is great, so I was hopeful that although I purchased this in error it still might be fun- wrong. This is the worst and I can not imagine anyone having fun with it. Games take a long time to load and then they are just boring. It is difficult to navigate thru and the book gives you no descriptions. This is getting traded in ASAP. If someone tries to give you this game for free refuse, it's not even worth your time.
