King Crimson was conceived in November 1968 and born on January 13th 1969 in the Fulham Palace Cafe, London (Fripp/Ian McDonald/Greg Lake/Michael Giles/Pete Sinfield),… Read more in Amazon's King Crimson Store

5.0 out of 5 stars The best of Crimson live, June 26, 2000
This review is from: Circus (Audio CD)
This double cd contains just live renditions of several lineups, from 1969 to early 90's recorded in mExico City with the double trio. Begining with the eariest crimson incarnations, to classic Bruford-wetton-Fripp-Cross songs, (an incredible "easy money" that appears on the recent "The nightwatch") to superb renditions of the Belew and then the double trio era. Highly recommended compilation unless you want to get all of their live albums: Epithaph (69-71 era) the nightwatch (72-74 era), The great deceiver (72-74 era), Absent Lovers ( 81- 84 era) and B'booom,(double trio era 1994) and a couple more albums that exist out there. In Circus you can hear the musical evolution of one of the greatest rock bands ever.
