Excellent world inflenced rock,

This review is from: Circus (Audio CD)
At their best, on about half the thirteen songs here, such as "Albert
Namatjira", "Walk Me Home" and especially "The Migrant", Not Drowning, Waving create a fantastic sound from elements of folk and world music melded with and an ever-building musical and lyrical tension that suggests an Australian answer to U2's best work. When they're not at their best, they're still interesting and eminently listenable, which is not a bad rest stop to choose. Unfortunately, this is probably too adventurous for traditional folkies, too folk and rock for world music outlets, and too complex for easy mass consumption. So it may fall between the commercial cracks, the same way that their previous outstanding American release, "Claim", did. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to help prevent that from happening.

You have the wrong group name,

This group is called "Not Drowning, Waving". It is not called "Waving Not Drowning". That's a title to someone else's CD.
