I own the "Varekai" DVD and love everything about it...especially the music. This is NOT the same music that is on the DVD. Some tracks are similar, but not even the performers are the same. To get the true soundtrack to the DVD, you have to order it directly from Cirque. I like this CD, but it is not what I thought I was ordering.

This is music, vocals from the show. It is the people who sing it during the show, it is NOT, however, all the music you'll see while watching the show. If what you're looking for is a simple soundtrack of the identical music you heard during the show THIS IS NOT IT.
The vocals are pretty and I'd even say that this may be worth getting if you love the show. But know what you're getting.

The music included on this CD, while not all of which is from the actual show, is very chilling, haunting, and just evokes something inside of you.

If you're looking for the music straight from the show, this isn't what you want. But, if you want something along the lines of what the music in the show had, you might be interested in this.

Overall, this is a great CD, even though it is quite different from what the show offers.
