cisa preparation,
By A Customer
This review is from: Cisa Examination Review Book: Theory (Paperback)
The book was outstanding. It was highly detailed, highly organized, and highly structured. I passed the CISA exam 1st time with flying colors. Topics were explained clearly and the textbook made effective use of examples. The author's style and organization of presentation were effective. Also, its principle strength is its comprehensiveness and the author's ability to explain difficult concepts clearly

Very comprehensive coverage,

This review is from: Cisa Examination Review Book: Theory (Paperback)
This book covers the CISA topics in a very comprehensive manner. I used it to prepare for the CISA examination (and passed the exam.) The only criticism I have is that does not focus on the important topics. All topics are covered in great detail so the reader is left to seperate the wheat from the chaff.

Opportunistic excellence,
By "readhard" (United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Cisa Examination Review Book: Theory (Paperback)
Vallabhaneni does an excellent job of presenting essential information in a no-nonsense, time-saving style that maximizes value-add to the reader. For the "opportunistic" reader, Vallabhaneni's book is an excellent tool for cutting to the core of the requirements for the CISA exam. My only source was Vallabhaneni and I passed the dreaded CISA exam at first attempt.

Dont read or buy this book,
This review is from: Cisa Examination Review Book: Theory (Paperback)
This is total waste of money.
Nothing comes in the exam from the book. Dont waste your money on the book from the author. Better read the CISA manual and use your knowledge.

Why?,

This review is from: Cisa Examination Review Book: Theory (Paperback)
Why do you need this book. I passed the exam without ever studying for it. I didn't think it was difficult. In my opinion, if you have to study for the exam you shouldn't be in the profession.
