5.0 out of 5 stars This is a superb card. Period.
I have an older Aironet 350 802.11b card, and decided to upgrade to get the better range and speed that this card offers (not to mention full support for WPA-PSK AES; my 350 only supported WPA-PSK TKIP).

I couldn't be happier. The client utility software has been simplified and made elegantly effective, and the site survey utility (once an option, now...

This bus card is offered bundled with an external antenna but it does not accept one. Just to be clear.... you can buy the external antenna with the bus card but there is no way to connect the 2 together.

I couldn't be happier. The client utility software has been simplified and made elegantly effective, and the site survey utility (once an option, now included) is a terrific tool for scanning the local environs and identifying Wifi access points. For performance and connection reliability, I don't think you can find a better Wifi PC Card.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best wireless card, August 1, 2005

If you're looking for a wireless card that maximizes on signal capture, you won't regret buying Cisco. I bought Linksys, although cheaper, it was a joke, kept cutting off connection all the time. Although Cisco is more expensive, you pay for what you get. It was painful to have to buy another card but I don't regret spending a single dime on this card.

I've tried linksys, netgear, dlink, etc. but nothing competes with this card. I always lose my signal with those other cards but this one always has a solid signal. It's expensive, but well worth the money. It saves lots of frustration.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cisco is really good, January 28, 2009
This review is from: Cisco Aironet 802.11a/b/g Wireless Cardbus PC Card ( AIR-CB21AG-A-K9 ) (Personal Computers)
I am 14 and know a lot about computers. Linksys makes nice products, but I saw this card and couldn't resist, for 30 bucks brand new its great. I am thinking about getting a cisco access point, expensive thought, this card is great, the information that is given is great. This is the only wireless card I recommend to use the software on the cd. Linksys is fine, I notice really no difference since I am close to my router, (secure with WPA2). I just like having a true cisco quality product.

Bought this used and saved a ton of money. Have put Linux (Ubuntu) Distros on some older laptops and these cards seem to work very well for Ubuntu. Will probably be buying another one for yet another "Grand Son's" computer.

The transaction- was great. The card was bad, I had to get a new harddrive-- took me 3 emails to get someone to respond. I sent it back and have yet to receive my money. Would never order from them again.
