4.0 out of 5 stars Easy to Install, Easy to Use
Could not have been easier to install - literally just put the included CD in the drive, and plug the device into your USB 2.0 port. Installed and self-configured in minutes. Very small, light, no additional power cords to worry about, no additional software (beyond the automatically installed drivers) to install - quick and easy. Only issue I found is that the antenna...

3.0 out of 5 stars Not so easy to install
I haven't been able to make it work with the SURFboard Wireless Cable modem Gateway SBG900; the user's manual hasn't been of any use to me. This network adapter connects to the SBG900 but cannot find the Internet. Any ideas?

Could not have been easier to install - literally just put the included CD in the drive, and plug the device into your USB 2.0 port. Installed and self-configured in minutes. Very small, light, no additional power cords to worry about, no additional software (beyond the automatically installed drivers) to install - quick and easy. Only issue I found is that the antenna is permanent, so you could never swap for replacement/better antenna like you can on some other wireless NICs.

I have had great success with this adapter. It was very easy to install and use. While the antenna cannot be upgraded, the unit has very good range.

This review is from: Cisco-Linksys WUSB54AG Wireless A/G USB Network Adapter (Personal Computers)
This adapter allows you to receive the 2.4 and 5.0 ghz and you have the option of setting it to the router you are using. I have found linksys to be the most reliable in connectivity and range.

This review is from: Cisco-Linksys WUSB54AG Wireless A/G USB Network Adapter (Personal Computers)
Linksys seems to make some of the best and most reliable wireless devices. I have 3 of these adapters now and after 4 years my oldest one still works. Great Product!

Excellent wireless adapter for the price. Set up was pretty easy and the connection speed is good. I use this for my kids computer on our AT&T network with the 2Wire Wireless Router that AT&T provides.

This also is good for maintaining control of the internet for your kids. I can just unplug the USB cable, and remove the internet from my sons computer (like when it gets in the way of homework).

5.0 out of 5 stars The WUSB54AG is money well spent., February 22, 2006
I could not be happier with a PNP network adapter, since it's USB there's no configuring you really need to do. Plug it in and install your software and drivers, and you'll be pleased with perfect performance. Hats off to Linksys on this one !
