These power supplies are the real thing. Not knockoffs. They are brand new and in original Cisco packaging. Amazon is the cheapest source for these. I bought before from Ebay Chinese suppliers and was not very happy.

works with SPA942 & SPA962 (I have both). Received product in timely fashion and plug fits well in phone and is secure, does not crackle or loose connection causing phone to reboot.

I purchased the Cisco 504G phones for my office and upon arrival, I noticed that there was no power cord included. So, needless to say I was a bit annoyed that there was no notation on the phone I purchased to make sure I purchased a power cord at the same time. Anyway, I searched for the piece and came across this Linksys PA100 adapter. I purchased 5 of them to start and am very glad I did. These work perfectly and I have it on my wish list to remind me to purchase the adapter next time I purchase a new phone.

Is it just me, or would everyone else assume that a power cord be supplied with this phone? Be sure to order one.

The HDhomerun networked tv tuner has shipped with some pretty bad power supplies over the years that seem to be prone to failure. This Linksys unit works great as a replacement. It's cheaper and better than the replacement that Silicon Dust will sell you.

Purchased for a Cisco phone. Although the Cisco phones can work without a power adapter if you have power over ethernet, most networks don't have this feature. Therefore, if you but a Cisco phone, you have to purchase the power adapter separately. Its more environmentally friendly this way, since some people won't get an adapter they'll never use.

I purchase this item for an Cisco/Linksys(Sipura) SPA500 Series I.P. Phone and is working flawless...

As advertised it provides power, and it does it's job.

We use it with a SPA962.

Note to Cisco/Linksys... you guys need to lift your game and start including this with the SPA962 and other models. Don't cheat your customers of things they need just because 1 in 1000 switches might be PPoE enabled...
