So bought this phone about 1 week ago. I have a small business and use a cudatel phone server (also VERY highly recommended). I have used polycom 550 phones and polycome 335's for the past 7 months. They are solid, but quite boring looking. They also did not seem to have good quick dial features and are not the most user friendly.
Given that the cudatel server looked like it might support this phone, I jumped on it. My experience below:

1. Price: Great! You get a professional looking VOIP feature filled phone for decent price. (approx 200)
2. Configuration: Good. Took tech support for cudatel to help me on this one. I needed to provision the phone to the server and it takes a quick script in a browser. You need to know the phones IP address and the server IP address. ie, you might need a bit of help with this one if you are not VERY adept with networking and phone servers etc.
3. Features: AWESOME! Quickdial? YES! Custom picture on screen? YES! Multiple lines? YES!
4. Quality of voice: is perfect. Just as good as polycom for sure.
5. Speaker phone is also with good microphone.
6. Screen: SHARP! MUCH better than polycom color 550 screen.

Overall: Very Happy. Will update with more info as I use it more.

To address concerns with other reviews.

1. No power cord...IT'S A POE (power over ethernet) PHONE! Don't expect power adapter. It's actually designed to not have a power adapter, but get it's power and communications all from one cord. ie declutter.

Pickup a POE Adapter on amazon if you do not have a POE switch. If you are not sure, you need a poe adapter.

2. I do not have any hookswitch problems. Looks like solid construction to me, but time will tell.
3. Voice quality: Can be due to multiple issues, especially your VOIP provider, your internal network, and your internet connection. Voice quality on this phone is just fine in my opinion.
4. No docs: you can download from internet. Configuration with my cudatel was not self explanatory, but now that I know how to do it, I'll be able to do it on my own.
5. bluetooth, and wifi: I have not tried these features.

Some downsides I did notice:
1. When I reboot the phone from server, I did loose some personalized settings such as quickdial settings. Easily fixed, but mildly annoying.

6 month update: I continue to be very pleased with these phones and have bought several more for the biz. They are running strong after 6 mos of good abuse. Voice quality is rock solid. Continue to be very happy and highly recommend.

Unfortunately there is no option for a 6 star rating, otherwise I would pick that.
Well, this Cisco phone is one of the top model in Cisco business series desk phones, so its no brainier that should work just fine. I have done my homework before purchasing it and I am very pleased with the quality of the calls. The phone is very easy to configure since it has a WEB API to work with. Compare this with 7xxx series of Cisco phone where it is almost impossible to configure the phone without Cisco call manager, this is piece a cake to work with. The phone is feature full and you can't ask for anything more in regards with a desk phone. I enjoy the Bluetooth capability as it give me the cordless functionality. The WiFi is also excellent for when you don't have the Ethernet. It has the dual firmware right out of the box which makes it compatible with home office and enterprise environment. I have 3 lines setup on this phone and they just work smoothly with one another. The level of the detail which allows you to make fine adjustment to the phone configuration is just awesome. Setting up an each line was fairy simple and quick. I highly recommend this phone for anyone who is looking into a quality VOIP phone with multiple lines.

This is a must have I.P. Phone for your office desk.

The handset and external speaker sound quality is impeccable; the Blue-tooth and Wi-Fi capabilities are awesome features; Very good looking screen; Very friendly Navigation trough settings and inf.; Easy to Set-up and customize.

Only problem I've had found is when you try to set the Weather (under the menu/Web Applications), I get an network connection error no matter what "City name" or "ZIP code" I introduce... and my network and settings are well configured.

This is and excellent communication device...

I want to start out by saying my setup includes a UC320 (I am told this changes the experience of the phone) The 1st unit would not pair with any Bluetooth devices at all. Sent that back thanks to Amazons amazing return policy and ordered a replacement. The replacement is working great! I paired it with a Plantronics Voyager and my Galaxy S3. Both devices work vary well with the phone but they can NOT be paired to the phone at the same time. This was a disappointment since I was really hoping for a device that would manage all of my calls and send them to the Bluetooth head set. Thankfully the Voyager supports two Bluetooth Devices at the same time.
Paired with the Voyager, I can pick up calls and end calls via the headset, sadly that is the end of what the headset controls will control on the phone. If you want to put calls on hold or swap from one line to the other, you must do this with the handsets controls. The Voyager has its own volume controls but the max volume of the headset is limited to whatever the volume is set to on the handset at any given time.
This replaced my SPA504G, the extra programmable button and more in depth menus are a huge plus. The color screen is nice but really of no functional advantage. The phone can also use wifi instead of a wired connection. I had already ran a wired connection to the station so I haven't even tried the Wifi option.
In the end, I bought this because I wanted to use a Bluetooth head set but find that the added programmable button and better menus have been just as valuable. I needed to add a phone here, so when you factor the cost of a phone, a lifter, and the added cost of the Bluetooth headsets that have a base station, this phone is a bargain. If you really don't need the extra programmable button and you already have all the phones you need, it may not be as good of a deal

Was using the Cisco 303 until now. This thing is quite an upgrade. I love being able to just pick up my cell phone on the handset (or speaker phone). The sound quality is great, both their ability to hear me and my ability to hear them. It is also convenient to charge my iPhone with (however it would be nice if there was compatibility to play the songs from my iPhone 4s, as the unit claims to be able to play MP3s.).

The only issue I've had, is when I am on a regular line, and my cell phone rings, it screws everything up. I usually lose one or both calls. Also, on rare occasion the keys stop responding (has happened twice in the couple months I've owned the unit). For these two issues I dropped it one star. But in general I am thrilled. Hopefully a firmware upgrade (not sure this is firmware upgradable?!?) will fix these issues.

(UPDATE) Been using the phone for the better part of a year now. One additional issue has come up, but not sure there is a solution. When I walk into the main office, before I get to my office and when I am working in areas other then my office, this phone still grabs ahold of my cell phone bluetooth connection so it takes me a while to figure out that the call I just answered can't hear me because, while I answered downstairs, the caller is trying to talk to me in my office upstairs through this phone.

I replaced an older Cisco 303 phone with this - i love it. I decided to upgrade because sometimes I work at night with the lights off and couldn't see who was calling on the 303. Also, sometimes it wouldn't pick up the caller ID when the 525 phones in the office would.

-Works with Vocalocity
-Color display
-Lots of options
-Caller ID works always now
-Sounds quality seems higher
-buttons are grooved in-ward which assists with touch-dialing
-5 lines instead of 3
-Ability to replace stock wall-paper with company logo
-Works with Jabra hetsetJabra GN9330e Wireless Headset

-Vocalocity hassled me for not paying an extra $100 to buy the phone from them
-Had to disable "Deep Bass" Option as it was distorting call
-Included phone cord for handset is short (That is an easy fix)Belkin Pro Series 25 feet Telephone Handset Cord
-Need to buy a power adapter if you are not Power-over-Ethernet (not a big deal as long as you know that)Linksys PA100-NA Power Adapter

I've used many enterprise level cisco phones over last 12 years and i was missing the proper corporate feeling when i moved into a smaller firm. What a difference 2 year makes. They've really done a great job with features that are helpful (ie bluetooth pairing with personal cell phones). You do lose one extension with for using the bluetooth feature but the convenience of using the office phone to make both cell calls and office calls is a big plus for me. Builtin wifi can be used to connect to the phone network and it was pretty simple to connect to UC320W without any issues. Currently had it running for almost two weeks without much hiccup. I wish i can say the same about a few office workstations but the combination of SPS525G2 and UC320W is solid.

PS-UC320W doesn't support power over ethernet. If you're interested in using the phone over ethernet without power adapter, make sure you check to see if your switch/router supports it. It would be a pita to have these phones get delivered and realize that it won't work without adapters

I used this with Ring Central and saved a couple hundred bucks over buying their phone. Since it doesn't have a ring central label, I figure I'll be able to resell later at a higher price if I need to.

All positive things about this device have been accurately described here, the phone is awesome. Just wanted to chime in that if you have a RingCentral account this phone is PERFECT for that use. We purchased this phone and it took less than a minute to configure it for our RC system. A couple of clicks and rebooted itself configured! I'm going to buy 3 more of these.

Good value for the price, quality is, well... Cisco. Do not go for the 20% cheaper other brand, tried it and it is just not worth the difference. Even the haptics of the key presses feel different, let alone the electronics.
