But can a crippled boy and a runaway archer's son forge themselves into genuine Knights of Cadwor, and defeat the bitter wraiths gathering like smoke over embattled Elundium? --------------------------------------- Overall not much happens in this book. Like the prior books its fee of surpises and the reader quickly becomes frustrated with the slow plodding pace of events. P The ending will leave you hanging. And so you'll have to find the sequels Threads of Magic and The Siege of Candlebane Hall. Both of these books, which were never published in the US, are hard to hard to find, especially the Siege of Candlebane Hall. My recommendation is to avoid this book.

A book about treachery, hardship and heroism in a mystical land. There are two more books in the series after this one. I enjoyed it immensely.
