Beautiful, December 3, 2006

The perfect sequel to his Bastion of Sanity album, Cities and Desire shows us more of this New Yorkers amazing and emotionaly provocative compositions. The album itself was recorded three tunes at a time which makes many of the tracks blend into each other very nicely.
All in all, a top notch jazz record.

Bit of drop-off in the second half but that doesn't dismiss an often crisp interplay with several important things to say.
