this is the closest watch I could find that had an analog face with at least 4 numbers and did not need a battery per se. Only issue I have is the date is too tiney for me to see but at least i can see the time without thinking about it. I would have been slightly happier if it had indiglow to make it light up more at night but for the most part it is pretty luminous, on the whole I am quite happy with it.

I'm 25 and this is my first "big boy" watch purchase. After reading a few of the other reviews, I was a little disappointed that they said the face would not be white because that was something I really wanted. I purchased it anyway due to the fact that I would not need a battery and the price was just too good. When I received the watch I was definitely impressed with the size, weight, and clean look. The face wasn't white like the others said, but it still looks great and the color is now growing on me. It matches the color of the stainless steel bracelet really well. LOVE IT.

side note: I do not think the watch is too heavy.

I'm not sure how this watch received such negative reviews. I bought this watch as a Lightning Deal for $109 and was very impressed with the quality, size and weight. It's big and heavy but after wearing much lighter watches, this one is now my go-to. As other reviewers mentioned, the face is silver and not white. The hands, which are white and appear to glow at all hours of the day make it a bit difficult to see in light conditions. This however, makes the watch very useful in darker conditions.

I'm not sure how Amazon could offer this watch at such a great price because you'd have to spend twice as much to get a comparable Eco-Drive. For the technology, quality, and price, this is a no-brainer.

My wife gave me this watch for Christmas. I was impressed with the size and weight. Large dial and Man Watch. The dial is easy to read. As other said, the face is not really white. Still quite attractive. 100% for this watch for such a great price.

I am very happy with this purchase. Watch has a big beautiful face. The face is more silver/grey than it is white (as it appears in the pic) which is what I had hoped for. For the price and the technology it's a sweet deal. This watch has quickly been pushed to the top of my collection and will be my go-to watch for awhile.

Why? So you don't tilt when you walk. Ok, wise remark about the weight. It competes well with a McDonald's quarter pounder. This watch is not small or light. The only small thing on it is the date which is miniscule and hard to read at best. Otherwise, it is what it is.

This watch is ok but there is no way it retails for what they say even the box which looked old and used as did the watch says the price on it &250. My husband loves watches and has many one of which is a citizen Eco drive the box was missing the cd that comes with all citizen Eco drive watches 2009 and newer also the manual was dated 2007. If I had known I was buying a used watch I would not have bought it. I love amazon and am a very frequent buyer I am so disappointed as even if I return it by the time the money is back in my account it will be to close to being to late for Christmas
