I am not one to spend a lot of money on luxury items however some things that you use every day can justify the added expense. I would love to buy a luxury watch as I do appreciate such things however I can't bring myself to spend the money at this point in my life. I purchased this watch after my Fossil broke and could not be happier with my purchase. Fossil watches look great for up to a year but the quality is not there. They are inexpensive, look great, but are not in for the long haul. The Citizen Eco-Drive ($200) I bought after 6 months has been great. The face has been very scratch resistant and the stainless case/band have held up as well. I often get compliments from my friends who own much more expensive watches. I shopped for a few months in stores and online for a new watch and am happy with my purchase. Hope this helps someone with their decision.

Amazon exclusive Citizens EcoDrive watch works great and looks that way as well. I bought the all stainless watch & band with blue dial. Delivery by Amazon was perfect. Watch keeps great time and runs off of light instead of battery or motion. Don't have to use a watch winder when you're not wearing it. The watch to replace your other watches with.

It is a nice watch, stylish, and it is the right size. As everyone knows, the trend is more into larger watches. With a diameter of 45mm, this is a nice choice with a price tag about $160.

This watch is much more beautiful than it looks in the picture. The blue dial is excellently designed. A really great watch for man.

I bought this watch as a gift and when I received it in the mail it did not fail to impress me. It looks really sharp and it's very versatile because it can be easily dressed up or down. The face of the watch was a bit larger than I expected, but I actually prefer that, so I was happy with it. I also love the look of the large numbers on the dial and the blue face is a great color.

This was a Christmas gift for my husband. The watch came quickly, and it looks amazing. It has worked perfectly since December and still ticking.

This was purchased as a gift for my boyfriend, Christmas 2010. He has worn the watch daily for the past 8 months with no complaints, and gets tons of compliments. The set-up was fast, easy and the instructions easy to follow.
The watch face is BIG and band is also quite large. If the intended recipient has dainty wrists, this may look awkward. We needed to purchase the sizer to remove a link, and it fits perfectly now.

This watch was a birthday gift that was a real treat. I've worn it for almost a year now and am very impressed with the watch. It is comfortable and accurate. The only thing that was a surprise is that the large second hand is actually the stop watch needle, whereas the small dial in the lower, center of the face is the second hand. Not a big deal to me, it is still functional. The crystal is very durable. For the price I've been very pleased!

I got a watch for Christmas this year... two hundred dollar retail Fossil watch. Literally hours after getting it my brother bumped into me and the bezel fell off. Needless to say, I was quickly in the market for a better, higher quality watch. I found it with this. Japanese watches tend to be of excellent quality, and this watch follows the trend. It's not only aesthetically pleasing (I've gotten nothing but positive feedback on it), but the Eco Drive technology is great and sort of puts your mind at ease. Extremely water resistant, quality steel, beautiful face (much bluer in person!), and with plenty of good features, this watch is fantastic. For the money, this watch is a great value.

Xmas gift for my 25 year old son. He loved it. I was initially worried the face was too large. He seemed very pleased with the appearance, and he is generally "picky". As an avid runner, skier, climber, and biker, he needed something he could see, even in the dark, and did not want to worry about batteries. So far, he as been very happy with both it's appearance and it's performance. Always nice to give the gift they seem to love. Now, if it stands up to the wear and tear of his busy lifestyle, it will be one great watch!
