Decent looking watch. Quality straps with both day of the week and date.

Please make note that this is NOT an EcoDrive watch as the listing says, or as some reviewers state. The listing is incorrect, this watch is battery operated (quartz) and will require the battery changed within two to five years.

Enjoy my Citizen's watch, although it wasn't quite the same as the one I was replacing (apparently Citizen has updated their product line). Only nit is a problem with changing the date and time (keep getting the Spanish version).

The day of the week is easy to read. The date, however, has insufficient contrast between the numbers (which are not big or bright enough) and the background. I usually have to hold the watch very close to a good light in order to read the date. That makes it not very useful at all!

My corrected vision is 20/25 so this should not be a problem for me.

This is my second Citizen Eco-Drive watch. I have a gold/silver dress watch which I purchased which I've used, but it's a heavier watch that can only be worn with dressy clothes, and so I was looking for a more casual watch for every day non-work use when I purchased this one.

The black band, black face, and gold styling means it goes with everything. I wear very little in the way of accessories, but the gold face complements the only ring I wear. The otherwise-all-black styling goes with everything from jeans to even more dressy items should I choose to wear this instead of the other watch I own. This watch is also very light and easy to wear.

That it's an eco-drive means that it never needs a battery or winding. The watch is easy to see, and I have no trouble setting the date or time. I've gotten several compliments on this watch already, and I'd have to say it's one of the best purchases I've made this year.
