I've always liked the quality of Citizen watches, but never owned an Eco-Drive before this one. I've had it for a few months now and it's worked flawlessly. It is stylish enough that I can wear it with something dressy, but also simple enough to be worn with casual attire. The Eco-Drive functionality has worked great. I was a little worried since I spend so much time indoors that it might not get enough light to keeping ticking. But even though I don't expose it to very much sunlight, indoor lighting has kept it going without missing a beat.

The inner ends of the leather band are winged with metal tips (the silver portions in the picture). When it comes time to replace the band, I'm not sure if it will be possible to either remove the metal clips and put them on the new band or buy a new band with the exact same style.

I've owned one of these watches for about 2 years. I've been rather careless with it, wearing it to the gym and to the basketball court. It has stood up to all of that with just a small scratch on the face. For its price, you can't go wrong with it. It looks good with any clothes, but is certainly more suited to formal occasions.

I got this watch 2 months back and is working excellently. I really love this watch. I would recommend this watch if you looking for an elegant watch within a 100$ price range.

I purchased this watch as a gift for my own birthday a year ago. It has so far stood the test of time and is still ticking away the same as the day I bought it. The circumference of my wrist is about 81/2 inches and it just barely slid in to the last hole on the band. I was worried about this initially being a bigger guy and it felt extremely tight. The leather band however does eventually stretch out and is perfectly comfortable now. I would not recommend this watch to anyone with a wrist bigger than 8 1/2 inches, unless you plan to buy a bigger band for it.

The watch itself is stylish and I have received several compliments on the piece. It goes perfectly with the suits and ties I wear to work, but also looks good while wearing jeans and a t-shirt.

Hard to see in the pictures, but at an angle there are actually notches for all the other hours (i.e. 1, 2, 4, 5, etc.).

This is a nice watch. Keeps good time. Leather shows wear and tear in a while, which is bound to happen. In all good value for money.

Well, what can I say? Everybody already went over the basics on this bad-boy so let me add this. This watch or timepiece for the old-fashioned crowd, is amazing. Its pure class. The leather breaks in nicely and the face is clear and easy to read. The fact that the watch never needs a battery is a massive plus. Men who are fortunate to own one will see that this watch will make them feel real big, like an owner of a sweatshop or a guy speaking in front of a Senate Committee. You may say, "what a tool". I respond with, just you wait pal, wearing it will make you believe that you're a couple of tax brackets away from committing crimes with impunity. Forget your country club membership, flash this and men will say "excuse me, sir" while the fairer sex will ponder their chances of having you lay on top of them.

Remember, above all, this watch is class on a budget. Good to know that your hard earned dollars can still go a long way.

I received the burgundy version of this watch for my 5-year anniversary with my employer and was so impressed with it so decided to search for a black version since black would go better with my wardrobe. All the elements of this watch are very nice: soft leather strap, chrome buckle with "Eco-Drive" stamped on it, glossy slim case with chrome hands and dial. All my other watches, except for one, are Eco-Drive so can't complain about that feature. Face is simple yet stylish and not too busy, looks very nice in a suit or your everyday dress shirt and dress pants. My only gripe is the glass has a round spot/stain right in the center underneath the glass that looks like condensation or oil or some kind of manufacturing defect. Thinking this indeed was a defect I returned the watch for a replacement which Amazon immediately shipped the same day. Unfortunately the replacement also has a spot in the center of the face underneath the glass. Since the watch is very nice and fairly inexpensive I decided to keep it, guess I'll have to live with that little spot for now.

I bought this watch for my boyfriend for Valentine's Day and it was amazing!! I fell in love with it the very first time I saw it and knew that it was perfect. I shopped around but kept coming back to this watch. I saw it in stores, but it's cheaper here on Amazon. I was so glad they sold it here. My boyfriend absolutely loves this watch--it's so masculine, unique, and totally stands out. He gets compliments on it all the time and he constantly wears it. It is leather so the strap gets creases here and there, but it still looks great. It's just so SLEEK!! Such a beautiful watch. If you want to get something special for anyone, this watch is the way to go! You won't regret it and they will LOVE this gift!!!
