5.0 out of 5 stars No wind? Awesome!
What can you say about a watch that looks good, is well priced and is solar/light powered? One word: Awesome! Of course I can't really get it wet, but for a watch I will never have to wind, ever, this is a really good deal. High fashion doesn't always have to cost you your whole wallet.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not water resistant to 99 feet
This watch is water resistant, but not to 99 feet. The materials with it advise hand washing resistance only.

4.0 out of 5 stars good watch, January 15, 2008

i had one of these watches for quite some time. i have since given it away to a deserving friend, and plan to buy another of the exact same model. its excellent. very tough. i did manage to scratch the crystal, but who cares, it was my fault. i do remember one time it stopped working for whatever reason, i pulled the adjustment crown out, pushed it back in, the second hand swept all the way around one time and it continued to work again flawlessly until after i gave it away. for this price, its a fantastic deal.

5.0 out of 5 stars Time please?, January 20, 2008
This review is from: Citizen Men's BM8220-51L Eco-Drive Stainless Steel Watch (Watch)
This watch is the best I've had so far. I need stainless due to acids in my skin. Over a year later, it still looks like new. Eco-Drive never needs a new battery either. Going from and autowind back to quartz was an easy transition.

4.0 out of 5 stars Looks good and solid build, February 20, 2009

The Citizen Eco-Drive watch looks as good or better in person than it does in the pictures. It isn't clunky and doesn't feel cheap. It doesn't have the total fit and finish of a high end watch like Movado or Tag Heur, but for the price its a very well made watch and something the vast majority of people would consider an excellent timepiece.

However, I was a little disappointed that it is not suitable for use while swimming. It is only suitable to be worn while washing hands or in the rain.

So if the lack of adequate water resistance is not an issue for you, buying this watch is a no-brainer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great timepiece for the money, November 13, 2009

This very handsome watch is neither too big nor too small. I have had several compliments on its good looks and look forward to wearing it for several years. The biggest reason I bought this particular brand was for the Eco-Drive system. Unlike my Omega I don't have to keep it wound, and unlike my various other watches it requires no batteries. I have not had it long enough to comment on longevity but I doubt that will be an issue. Some things one should consider before purchasing: The band might not be big enough for extras large wrists. If you do need the band shortened you should probably take it to a jeweler to get it done right ($10). And finally, you need to read the directions before setting the watches day/date to be sure you get things correct. Great watch, especially at the sale price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Nice Watch, January 13, 2008
This review is from: Citizen Men's BM8220-51L Eco-Drive Stainless Steel Watch (Watch)
I researched watches for my husband for Christmas and this one seemed really nice for the price range I was looking at. I even went to Macy's to look at a similar model in person to make sure that the quality was there. The price on amazon.com (the vendor was Watch Zone) was very competitive. The order went through smoothly and I received the watch quickly from the vendor. The watch arrived and my husband was very pleased. The fact that he doesn't have to wind the watch to keep the time is a great benefit. This is a sharp watch. He just started a new job as a sales rep and he looks great wearing this. It is very professional, sleek, and classy looking, yet seems durable. I would recommend this watch!

4.0 out of 5 stars Very handsome Watch, April 21, 2008
This review is from: Citizen Men's BM8220-51L Eco-Drive Stainless Steel Watch (Watch)
I purchased this watch for my boyfriend's birthday. It is very attractive and suits him well with his office attire. I was a bit dissapointed in the fact that the watch band is WAY too big for his wrist. I will admit that I'd never baught a man's watch before, and in talking to co-workers they felt that since this particular watch write up claimed to be average wrist size, that I should be fine. This wasn't the case. It falls to the middle of his hand. I wouldn't classify my boyfriends wrist as being "Small", but again, I've never purchased a man's watch, so take this information as a guide. Other than that the watch is lovely.
