Just love the watch since it requires no winding or battery changes. It keeps perfect time with no adjustments needed and I have had it for over a month now. Easy to adjust to your wrist size and very attractive design.

I recently bought this watch as a gift for my husband. He loved the look of it but found setting the date was a bit hard to do and the band was too big. When he attempted to make the band smaller, he ended up contacting Citizen for some assistance. It turns out, a special Citizen tool is to be used to remove extra links. He found a store that carried this brand and they did the adjustment for him. Now he's a happy camper.

Bought this watch for my husbands birthday. I have had a Citizen Eco-drive watch for years. By far the best watch I have ever owned. He loved it. Had to take it to get some links taken out to fit his arm . The man at the jewelry store could not believe what I paid for it he said he does not know how they could even sale that watch for that price. They had the same watch on sale for 220 I gave 120 Thanks Amazon.

The watch is nice, although it's fairly small - smaller than I expected. They do post size on the web, so it's my oversight. Still, it's a nice watch. The one problem I have is with wrist band. It looks very solid in photo. It's not. The "golden" yellow links are fairly flimsy. They are actually used to hold the bracelet together, like chain links. I don't think they are sturdy enough. I can see them bending if the band gets caught on something while you walk. I bent a couple while taking links out to shorten the bracelet - and I've done this before, with other watches, many times, without any issues. The biggest problem, though, is that the golden polish on these links is wearing out very quickly. After having this watch for a week, the links already show wear marks on the outside, where the bracelet rubs against the plastic-covered desk while I work on my laptop. Come on, Citizen, I've seen much better durability on a Wenger watch that was less than 1/2 of your "original" price. I think I will end up replacing the bracelet with a nice leather band. I hope the finish on the watch itself is of higher quality. *** Added October 2010 - this watch is a scratch magnet. After just a few months of wear it looks as worn out as my previous watches did after 2-3 years. The entire yellow finis on the outer / left side (where hand is facing away from body) is worn out to bare metal on the bracelet, and very scratched and dull on the outer ring, with light / usual wear. I still have two of my previous watches that are now 3-5 years old and they look newer than this one. It's a pity since I really like it. Next time I'll try Seiko. **** Added 1/12. I haven't worn this watch for the last year. I have a nice, deep scratch in the glass (the word "crystal" obviously doesn't apply here), from a light bump on metal cubicle divider. I owned many watches over the years and the only ones that would scratch as easily as this one were the cheap plastic watches with plastic face plates. Actually I take it back, even those were more scratch-resistant. The yellow finish on the round ring around the face is almost worn through where the watch rubs against the sleeve of my shirt. I have replaced this watch a year ago with a Guess one that is 1/2 the price and it still looks practically brand new . Do not waste your money on this overpriced junk. Shame on you, Citizen, used to be a decent quality brand.

I am really enjoying my new Citizen Eco Drive watch. I appreciate how easy it is to set. I also like the water resistant feature. I am extremely satisfied and look forward to many years using my new watch.Bob Hanahan

This watch has worked perfectly since I took it out of the box. I've received many compliments on its looks. Not having to worry about replacing batteries is a big plus.

Longest lasting watch I've ever had,

I've had this watch for almost 3 years, and not once did it give me any problems. With other watches, after a year or two of use, the batteries would die, the belt or face glass would break. After getting tired of needing to do so many repairs, I bought this one. Well the eco drive doesn't disappoint, and so far the watch has withstood beatings and drops. My only complaint are the scratches. Like some one else wrote: it's a scratch magnet. Other than that, I am very happy with it.
