It's a nice watch, especially for the price. I've gotten a lot of compliments about the watch and overall I really like it.

What I don't like about it: the digital shut down in low light conditions, the hands only glow for about 30 minutes, the buttons get pushed by my wrist when bent and always find myself having to go back to the right time zone, and the instructions don't explain how to use extra functions like the compass and sailing features.

But, if you're looking for a good looking quality watch at a good price, and don't want to mess with batteries this is the one to get.

This is the best quality and "classiest" watch most men will ever own. My JR4010-51L is going into its second year of relatively rough service. It's "quet class" good looks are vastly enhanced with flawless function. Precise timekeeping, perpetually self-recharching battery, headturning good looks and 22 timezone settings just begin to highlight this chronograph's stellar features. Several minor "downside" quirks are far outweighed by the owerwhelmingly great design. In case you love to dwell on the "negatives," these are the quirks: Titanium wristband construction is limited in strength to the holding ability of steel, spring-loaded bars that connect the wristband to the watch. These fastening bars are still plenty strong. I just wonder why build something with titanium and then limit its strength? The Stars & Stripes theme is slightly outdated, from 2005 and the pushbutton setting controls sometimes switch to a different time zone inadvertently. Finally, the baby-boomer "neuvo geezers" among us will need magnifying reading glasses to see some of the tiny print, that needs to be read to utilize some of the more obscure features. This is one "helluva good watch" at any price!

I have a lower cost version of this watch. Mine has the same analog features but without the additional LCD readouts that this watch has. The solar feature is really great. Other battery operated watches have always been a bother because the batteries fail regularly. The Eco Drive gives warning of an impending battery failure. It has a claimed ten year battery life. Mine has been going for five years now. I don't even have to mention time-keeping. It keeps time dependably. My only reservation is that the small dials on the face are somewhat difficult to read. This is a function of my failing eyesight as the dials "pop" into focus with reading glasses.

This is a perfect watch and it came in that condition, box and all. Was a day late because of snow fall but worth the wait.

I researched this watch quite a bit before I purchased it on Amazon and I was not dissapointed when it arrived. It looks great (I like the little bits of color it has; it's not your usual plain silver watch) and it has many functions which I will use over time, although not day to day. The only thing more I wish it had would be a backlight, but other than that, it's perfect for me. I would highly recommend this watch, assuming it suits your style and you like the way it looks.

Wonderfully beautiful watch, but it is so complicated that without the manual you're lost.
