5.0 out of 5 stars A Watch WIth Muscle!
This is a great watch that looks great, is rugged and gets a lot of compliments. However, the paint on the metal scratches easily, so beware of rough or sharps surfaces. I do volunteer work in a museum and often have bumped it up against things, so it doesn't look as good as it did a month ago. It must be handled with kids gloves.

3.0 out of 5 stars My honest opinion
I just got my Citizen Eco-Drive 20th Anniversary Aqualand Orange watch, very happy to own one.
It is an amazing design and High-end quality. I was eager to jump in the ocean and try my new toy.
And I did it; I am an open water scuba diver and free diver so next morning I went for free diving (I live in Hawaii), just to enjoy my new watch.
So there was...

3.0 out of 5 stars My honest opinion, January 13, 2011
This review is from: Citizen Men's JV0030-19F Eco-Drive 20th Anniversary Aqualand Orange Imperial Dive Watch (Watch)
So there was my first shock when I came back home and wanted to see my log.Nothing was registered and reading the manual on page 72 I learned:

" Conditions for Storing Log Data in Memory:
The log number and log data are stored in memory when the watch remains at a depth of more than 1m (4ft) for 3 minutes or more, or remains at a depth of more than 8m (27ft) for 1 minute or more."

Hello CITIZEN I can't stay at 27 ft depth or more, for more than 1 minute if I am free diving(maybe pro free divers). But I would appreciate to see my log.
However it is great watch for scuba diving I simply can't understand why so expensive watch can't be programmed for free diving as well, and how about downloading logs to your personal computer, we are in 2011 and I hope I'm not exaggerating with my opinions. I had one of previous models and I was able to download all data to PC.

For scuba I would give 5 stars but because of so bad program engineering the watch doesn't deserve more than 3 stars.

4.0 out of 5 stars great dive watch, November 30, 2010
This review is from: Citizen Men's JV0030-19F Eco-Drive 20th Anniversary Aqualand Orange Imperial Dive Watch (Watch)
I love the bold look of this watch...so much so that I do wear it out and about, not only when I'm diving. I do use it when I dive, and so far, after two extended dive trips (over 10 dives each trip), the watch has functioned very well. The rubber band is very long which makes it easy to fit over a wetsuit, and the look of the watch gets a lot of attention. A great looking conversation piece. I've seen the other reviews which mention problems with the finish or the band, but I have had this watch for over a year and have not had any of those problems at all.

I had a much older (and battery powered) Citizen Aqualand, and replaced it with this one when it got stolen. Asymmetric shape and orange band are great visually. Larger LCD screen with backlighting is highly visible. Hands providing depth and time information underwater is great.

The only complaint I'd have about this watch (shared among all dive watches) is how easily any tiny amount of sweat makes it go into "dive prep" mode in the summer. They really should move the water sensor contacts around to the front of these things, and on this watch body in particular there'd be plenty of room to do so. But that's a quibble.

5.0 out of 5 stars works great!, March 27, 2011

I've used my citizen to actually dive! Unlike a few ppl in here who bought the watch because it looked cool.

So the watch works great! The measurements are accurate and the safety stop feature is a must have. For the price this dive watch seriously rocks. It certainly beats having to buy an expensive dive computer.

I wud definitely recommend this watch for dive beginners and seasoned enthusiasts alike.

I bought this watch because I normally scuba dive every other weekend. After a couple of dives I noticed it began to tear from on the rugged parts of the armband, after a couple of weeks it was completely broken. I bought a spare orange armband and decided not to dive with it and after six months it was the same story. This was my favorite watch so I bought another one for $29 dollars and 6 months without diving and is broken again. I won't bother buying another one again.
