This is a beautiful watch. It's exactly the proportion I was looking for - not too delicate, not too clunky - and it straddles the line between dressy and casual. The diamonds around the bezel catch a lot of light and dress it up, but the chronograph features make it work for the weekend, too. I even like the mother of pearl dial, and I wasn't sure about that. I love that it will never need a battery replacement. This feels and looks like a much more expensive watch.

I absolutely love this watch! I've been trying to decide between this and the Bulova chronograph but, once I saw them both up close, this one is far superior!! It's beautiful and sparkly without looking too over the top or gaudy. It has such a nice young hip look on my wrist and is very comfortable to wear. And I love the fact that it's eco friendly with the eco-drive.. no need to ever get a battery!! . it looks like a much higher end watch without the price tag.. Great quality and look for less..with a 5 year warranty too.. Gotta love that.. You will not be disappointed.

I bought this watch for my wife and she loved it. It arrived quickly and was well packed. I would shop from this store again.

I recently purchased this watch, and let me tell you, it is even more gorgeous in person! I love the idea that it will never need a battery! I have gotten so many compliments, and each time I wear it, I get more.
I also love the versatility of the piece. I can wear it with jeans and a tee shirt, or with my little black dress, and it still looks great. I highly recommend this watch to anyone tempted to buy it, and at this price, it's a bargain!

I really wanted to love this watch but when it arrived I was disappointed and have already sent it back.

Here are my thoughts:

1. It was much smaller than I thought. The case is supposedly 33 millimeters in diameter but I think they must have measured this including the crown. I have a similar watch with 35 millimeters in diameter and the case is much bigger.

2. Because I am far-sighted, I not only need a bigger watch to see the time, I also need to have good contrast when it comes to the difference between the dial and the numbers/hands. The silver colors on the mother-of-pearl dial made it almost impossible for me to tell what time it was (much murkier than the image suggests).

3. Lastly, the diamonds on the bezel did not impress me. Granted I understood beforehand that these wouldn't be big chunky pieces, but the sparkle effect I had hoped for was barely there (let's face it, ladies: Why get a diamond-accented watch if the sparkle is so minor?). Also, the raised triangles separating the diamond bars were much less defined than the image suggested and didn't look half as classy in person as in the picture.

I wish I had been able to see the watch in a store before ordering. All in all I find the Riva chronograph an average and wholly unremarkable watch which is - in my opinion - not as nice as depicted.

My husband bought me this watch as a birthday present. It is much more beautiful in person and is very stylish. It can be worn with jeans, a business suit or with a little black dress. Amazon had the best price around compared to any department store or jewelry shop. I have another Citizen watch that I bought 5 years ago and wear it almost everyday - it also has the eco-drive. Citizen is well-made and reliable. I also compared this watch against other Chronograph watches and this one was far more substantial and prettier than the others. The fact that you never have to change the battery is a big plus!! It is definitely a keeper --You won't be disappointed.

I received this watch as a present for my birthday from my father. I had mentioned to him that I was looking for a watch and he refused to purchase anything other than a Citizen or Seiko watch, so this is what we decided on. I had originally wanted a bigger watch face, but the size is definitely modern without being too large/heavy. The diamonds are small, but still reflect light, so the watch looks like it is high quality. It is built well, doesn't seem like it will have any problems especially without having to ever change the battery. I have a small wrist, though, so I have to take about four of the links off in order for it to fit me. Other than that, I'm very pleased with the watch. It's my first actual "nice" watch, I'm 19, so I hope this will last me for a while. It should. I recommend this watch.

I purchsed this watch as a Christmas gift for myself. I was searching for something sporty, but also something I could wear for the night out. This eco-drive fit the bill.. From price, style and overall quality. It's absolutely beautifuly. I'm completely sold on Citizen watches and plan to purchase a silver-gold tone watch from their Velatura line.

This watch looks very rich. I get lots of compliments. It's gorgeous. Perfect with casual and fine enough to do the evenings. I also love the eco-drive. No battery replacements needed!

We returned this watch becuase it was bigger than we expected, and purchased the same watch in a smaller version.
