While I am not happy with the packaging (see below) the dishwasher soap is actually quite good. Dishes came out nice and clean and the scent is very subtle. I wanted to find an Eco-friendly product and after reading reviews, decided to try this brand instead of the Seventh Generation.

As for the packaging, one bottle top broke off in transit and that bottle leaked all over causing the box to disintegrate on one end and wasting about half the soap. I did contact Amazon about it and they sent me label to return the top-less half bottle, which seems ridiculous.

Detergent cleans very well and the aroma is fresh with the citrus. BUT the gel is so very thick that it is difficult to get through the hole in the lid to put it in the dishwasher dispenser. I have removed the lid and let the gel come out the top. This works well since the gel is thick and you can control it.

It came with three bottle tops broke off which caused leaking all over other bottles in the box. (box as well). The post office will not accpet this horrible sticky and damaged box. Should I get a new box to fit these bottles to return to AMAZON.com??? *sigh*

This detergent does not work for us. It recommends the hot water heater to be turned to 150 degrees and with a toddler in the house that will not happen. It does not clean well at lower temps and leaves a residue.

It seemed to clean OK at first but then after a while we noticed food residue remaining/building on our dishes & silverware. Our dishwasher has its own internal water heater so the water temp is not the problem. Like other reviewers mentioned, bottles arrived with a few broken lids and it is ridiculously difficult to get the gel out of the bottle. Definitely not a product for someone with arthritis or hand mobility issues. We never experienced the great aroma that others rave about, either. I will be giving away all the other bottles to any takers I can find.

This is the best and it works great on my dishes, last a long time and there are not any harmful chemicals. I will keep getting this stuff forever!

At first this dishwashing detergent seemed to get everything clean but over time we noticed a buildup of residue on all of our dishes and glasses. The glasses in particular had an obvious buildup and became cloudy (almost like the detergent etched particles into the glass). Don't know what I'll do with the other 5 bottles...

I really wanted to like this product. It would have been fine had it arrived undamaged.

I was on the Subscribe & Save plan and received 3 orders of this product over the past year. Every order (a total of 18 bottles!) arrived damaged: every cap was broken off, with gel spilled all over the box.

- The delivery company didn't pay attention to the packaging cautions: Handle With Care, and "right side up" arrows. Each time, the driver left the box upside down on our front porch!

- The dishwasher gel company did not care about proper packaging. If they did, the gel bottles wouldn't jiggle so much during shipping.

I emailed these problems to Amazon all 3 times asking them to fix it. All they did was give me credit. They never fixed the problems.

The product itself was so-so, nothing great and, with the damaged bottles, grossly over-priced. I've switched to Palmolive Eco gel detergent: considerably cheaper, and does a better job for our needs.

At the moment, I would not recommend this Citra Dish detergent until the company lowers the price, starts packaging the bottles better, and the delivery company starts paying better attention to the packaging caution signs.

This detergent is AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL. I didn't feel like being bothered to return the 5 other bottles, so I used them. All of my dishes have white streaks on them and the stuff is clumped in the bottle so we had to take the top off to squeeze it out. It's like jello. I just told myself, at least the white streaks all over the food-caked dishes are ALL NATURAL! I even broke down at one point and mixed this poo with cascade so the dishes would be at least clean. There has GOT to be a better dish detergent than this. Thank GOD we are on the last bottle. Will I ever see clean dishes again? I hope so. I can't even describe how terrible this product is. Ugh

worse dish soap i've ever used. leaves tons of stains on the dishes. would never buy again.
