I've used Citra Suds for years & this new "Lavender Bergamot" offers a different 'scent' when you pull your laundry out of the washer. Works just as well as the original 'orange-ee' scent.

This product is just as good as Seventh Generation detergent, but less expensive. Smells nice and works just fine!

Wonderful product especially for those with sensitive skin, but everyone has to accept the fact that this company, even after months/years of selling this product, has not resolved the problem of screwing the lids of the detergent bottles on so that the stuff doesn't leak. They've bagged it, sealed it with tape, boxed it and shipped it, but the fact remains: if the lids are not securely and tightly screwed on, the company will continue to suffer loss with the online sale of this product. I waited for over and month and a half and made three phone calls to Amazon before my replacement shipment was sent after the first was reported "damaged in shipping". After giving up hope that I would ever get the product, I asked them to remove the charge from my card, but they would not. I accrued interest on the $38 charge after 30 days while Amazon did nothing. In the end, I finally got the stuff, but it was a battle to get this purchase completed.

i ordered the 6 pack of lavender bergamot detergent, fed ex delivered the box and it smelled of detergent before i opened the box. when i opened the box, the 6 bottles were in a plastic bag and one of the bottles had leaked (more than 1/2 the product had leaked in the bag). this made it somewhat messy since all the bottles were now covered in detergent.

the other issue i had was that i was sent 3 of the orange and 3 of the lavender when i ordered 6.

called amazon and they were most helpful. i read the reviews for the Citra Suds Natural Laundry Detergent, HE 2x Liquid Concentrate, valencia orange and those 3 reviews were about the bad packaging/shipping...

so, overall, i like the product...but how it gets to you is another story...

Smells delightful, and cleans well. This product is gentle and appropriate for the clothing I wear to work, where I deal closely with the public. Smelling clean and sweet is an asset.

I originally purchased this at my health food store, but when they stopped carrying it I ordered it online. I love the smell, it cleans colored and whites just fine, and it's green, which makes me happy to use it.

I haven't tried the orange, I use the lavender bergamot.

This may well be a fine product. But, my order having been destroyed in shipment, I have no way of knowing. Several others have indicated the same problem. Until/unless Amazon (or whomever is responsible for shipment) can give customers a reasonable expectation of delivery, I would suggest you stay away from this product.

We like this product - it is good for the environment and efficient for a reasonable price. I just wish it would smell a little more like lavender and bergamot, hence the 4 stars.

I tried a sample of this two years ago and loved it but couldn't find it in my area. I've ordered this product three times from Amazon but cannot seem to get it. First time Fed Ex lost it in Texas even though I am in Georgia, and the next two times it made it to Doraville, Ga. UPS but then was lost in transit. Has anyone else had this problem with UPS? It's not Amazon's fault but I am still disappointed.

we never tried this product because it was damaged in shipment and we never recieved it. needs better packaging evidently.
