I've had problems with aching hips and back trouble. I suppose it can't be proven but I sincerely believe taking Citracal Plus Bone Density Builder has made all the difference! My hips no longer hurt, and the back has improved greatly!

I started taking calcium supplements about 6 months before I was diagnosed with acute Osteoporosis. I went through 4 brands and about $70 trying to find one that didn't upset my stomach. I then heard about Citracal with Bone Density Builder (Genestein: proven to help build bone density!!!!). DOES THIS SOUND LIKE AN AD YET??? When I started taking it over 4 months ago, my stomach problems stopped and I do feel a lot better: fewer aches and pains! AND the best deal I have found to right here on Amazon.com when I subscribed for regular deliveries.

My doctor recommended this because it has Genistein in it. Very important for us lady's over 50 years old.

When I get a product like this, I am concerned about the size of the pill; I cannot swallow horse pills. Anyway, this is easy to swallow and I get more Vit.D in this like my doctors want me to take. My next bone density will tell if the density builder in it is working. The price is also good, so I will continue to order.

The product was recommended for not making the blood pressure go up when taking along with the high blood pressure medicine. It worked as recommended

I've been using this product for over a year. Don't know what took me so long, but I just realized it contains soy. Since in 2009/2010 93% of soy grown in the US was genetically modified (Wikipedia),it's highly likely the soy in this product is GMO. I'll finish the bottle I have, but then I'm done with this product.

For those people who don't eat animal products for whatever reason, be aware of the hidden animal ingredients not listed in the description.

"Citracal products contain trace amounts of hydrolyzed bovine (cow) gelatin and
vitamin D made from purified wool grease.
Citracal products that contain vitamin D are not suitable for those who do not
consume animal products because the vitamin D is suspended in a gelatin matrix
for stability."

This is for my wife. I guess all women should take this stuff to help prevent osteoporosis.

My oncologist has had me on this instead of Boniva and such - and it has been great. When I stopped being able to get it locally, I ordered it here. Three weeks later, I'm still waiting.
