The Fall and Glam collide,
By doug (Rocky River, Ohio United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: City Life (Audio CD)
I only recently purchased this record, but I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Adam Busch (sic?) sounds so much like Mark Smith from the Fall but I don't really care. Copying the lead singer of the Fall is one of the last things a person would think to do nowadays, but Busch does a great job of it. Add the great voice to the great music and you've got something really great going here. The music really is what most reviewers have said about it. It definitely is a cross between the Fall and Glam rock and I think it is safe to say that if this record had been released in the 70's people would be claiming this as one of the major Glam records. It's not a perfect record by any means, but it still is a very solid record and worth purchasing for sure.
