I bought today a racing game which is extremely well built. The graphics are great and the frame rate stays at a solid 30 frame rates per second making the game alot of fun. The game has perfect camera angles making it easy to turn around when in a accident. The crashes in this game are awsome looking which adds more points to this game. The sound is very crisp and clear, along with the cool beat in the background.The power-ups are fun to collect and use on your apponent adding even more points to this title. City Racer is better than Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2 but not Need For Speed Underground. For $20 heck even $30 this game is worth it. I own 64 Gamecube games and this is one of my favorites this should tell you something. Definetly try City Racer you wont regret it. I would give this game a 8.8 and nothing less. Everything is just well done.

CITY RACER is a good game. There is a good sense of speed, and quite a few tracks (12). The graphics are nice, although not incredibly detailed. The game tries not capitalize on the popularity of movies like THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS, or games like MIDNIGHT CLUB.

However, there are much better games available. First: MIDNIGHT CLUB, MIDNIGHT CLUB II, GTA, and TEST DRIVE. These are on PS2, but excellent street racers. BURNOUT 2, Gamecube's best racer, blows this out of the water. NEED FOR SPEED: HOT PURSUIT 2 is better, featuring much more variety.

Yet in the end, CITY RACER is still very enjoyable. It is better than Activision's WRECKLESS. There are a large selection of cars (12), with fairly good handling. There is 4 player split-screen multilayer, which is fairly good. There might be better games out there, but CITY RACER is a must for racing fans.

THIS GAME HAS A LOT TO OFFER...
ITS GOT AMAZING GRAPHICS AND U WILL NEVER GET BORED OF IT...
THIS IS A MUST BUY FOR ALL GAMECUBE OWNERS!

First, this game should have costomisable cars. All you do is change the color.

Second, the cars handle like a bar of soap.You turn and go the opposite way.

Third, WTF ARE THE STUPID POWER-UPS FOR!!!!!!!!

DO NOT BUY IT WASTES YOUR MONEY.
