5.0 out of 5 stars A Handsome and Appealing Volume, March 17, 2007

This review is from: City of Readers: The Book Lover's Guide to Portland (Paperback)
A Confession: I am an inveterate page folder. That is, as I read a book, I dog-ear any pages that I want to revisit, re-read, or take a note from. And upon reaching the end of CITY OF READERS, I looked back to find creases aplenty, ample testimony to this book's usefulness.

I was surprised to find how many Portlandian reading nooks I was unaware of. And I was pleased to find that Mr. Boehmer and I are in agreement that Reed College's Hauser Library is an excellent place to read.

Full Disclosure/Nice Surprise Department: One of my books is mentioned herein, though I was unaware of this when I bought C.o.R.
