If you are a Weakerthans fan, there's absolutely no reason not to own this EP. John K Samson continues in the band's tradition of beautiful lyrics and melodies; two of the songs are purely acoustic, and the third includes drum machine (reminiscent a bit of Glen Hansard). Even if you're not a fan, this is a great way to start; Samson's voice might just make you swoon.

The singing, playing and production are all flawless, and there's really no reason not to give it a listen. It is a bit sad that the whole EP clocks in at under nine minutes, but each minute of music is a delightfully soul-filled and beautiful.
