Informative and entertaining
I live in Tucson and get a lot of out-of-town friends and relatives passing through. I put this book in their hands and turn them loose. It covers just about everything a tourist would want and need to know, and then some, and the writing is pretty funny, but not stupid. A good overview
I bought this because I was going to Tucson on vacation, with an eye to perhaps retiring there eventually. I found the book useful, although a bit superficial. Still, it's worth the price.

I live in Tucson and get a lot of out-of-town friends and relatives passing through. I put this book in their hands and turn them loose. It covers just about everything a tourist would want and need to know, and then some, and the writing is pretty funny, but not stupid. The book is organized very usefully, with restaurants and attractions and motels listed by what section of the city they're in. Even I didn't know some of the things in this book, and I've lived here nearly 30 years. I just wish they'd come out with an update, because some of the restaurants have closed since this was published.
