Big moe is a big man out of texas who can sing with the best of them.He sings over those texes rap beats and always has a couple of well known texas rappers mixed in with him in his songs the song.I never heard of him, he came out of nowhere .I first heard barre baby in 2000 on the internet and immeditley had to get the cd. After listening to it I like the other songs to. I wonder, ill do it, get back are my favorites but i wish i would cut back on the rapper and do his singing more. The is his best work.

4.0 out of 5 stars ONCE YOU HEAR THIS, YOU'LL BE LIKE MAAN!, January 14, 2004
This review is from: City of Syrup (Audio CD)
THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST INDEPENDANTLY RELEASED RAP ALBUMS I'VE EVER HEARD. FILLED WITH GUEST APPEARANCES FROM THE WRECKSHOP FAMILY, BIG MOE RELEASED THIS UNDEREXPOSED ALBUM. THE DOPEST SONGS ARE THE TITLE TRACK, ''MAAN!'', ''I WONDER'', AND ''GET BACK''. THIS ALBUM SERIOUSLY DEMANDS TO BE HEARD. I'MA TELL YOU NOW, BIG MOE ACTUALLY DOES VERY LITTLE RAPPING AND A LOT MORE SINGING. THIS REMAINS THE BEST ALBUM THAT BIG MOE HAS RELEASED.

This CD is definitely off the chain, it's everything I have come to expect from the Houston rap scene and then some. I highly recommend your purchasing this album, especially if you are into laid back party tracks that let you cut loose without feeling all sugarcoated. This is the real deal, Houston at it's finest. If you have this, I also suggest Lil' Flip, Botany Boys, HAWK, and Lil' Keke's CDs too!

5.0 out of 5 stars H Town's finest, September 7, 2005
This review is from: City of Syrup (Audio CD)
Every since I was in the 5th grade I was listening to Big Moe and the S.U.C. They are known all around htown from the Northside to the Southside. RIP to DJ Screw he was down with them to. There has never been an album Big Moe didn't wreck on. THe whole WReck shop records make tight albums. The first ever Big Moe song I ever heard was "Bar Baby" and that was the tighest song i ever heard. Big Moe put htown on the map and now we can't be stopped............................... H TOWN 4 LIFE
