Growing up in the bay area, I never realized how much there was to do in SF until now. There are so many great ideas and educational gems in this box. These cards have wonderful, diverse suggestions to pass the time. Not only are the adventures fun for the kids, but adults are sure to have fun as well.

We have been to SF perhaps 40 times in the past ten years for a couple of weeks each time. I thought I knew just about everything in the city with all of my walking and kids books...not so. This is a valuable addition plus with the cards, it allows our grandson to pick the walks he is most interested in. We found ourselves taking part in activities for the locals and not the touristy things that for me grow old fast.

I bought these for my 10 year-old son in preparation for a trip to San Francisco and he looked through them all and chose the ones that appealed to him the most. At first he had half the deck, but he soon whittled it down to 8 must-see-and-do things. He was so engaged in planning for the trip and got really excited about something that really hadn't interested him at all. As for the parents, these are so easy to tuck into a bag and sure beat carrying around a heavy guidebook. As a plus, there is information on each card as to how to reach your destination via public transportation.

This is a great set of cards showing how to get to various attractions and what to look for there. We reviewed them at home before we went to a mini vacation in San Francisco, each family member chose one or two cards for destinations they really wanted to see, and we made the plan so that everyone got to help plan the trip. Very helpful and fun.

We are still relatively new to San Francisco. Now that our daughter is pushing two, we are always looking for new adventures and new places to explore over the weekend. These cards contain many ideas in all parts of the city. I like that they note the modes of public transportation that reach each destination and that they mention particular shops and restaurants along the way.
