The first book written in the Islamic world to study Christ's crucifixion, this text recreates the city of Jerusalem on Good Friday, considering the actions and states of mind of the bystanders and participants.

This review is from: City of Wrong: A Friday in Jerusalem (Mystical Classics of the World) (Paperback)
City of Wrong is a very interesting vision of Jesus' last days, told from an Islamic perspective. Rather than focusing on the story of Christ's passion, this account focuses on the will to crucify- how a group of individuals can come to desire the death of a righteous man, and the justifications they put forward for doing so. An excellent read, and worthwhile for anyone interested in the person of Jesus from an Islamic perspective and/or how societal dictates can override or destroy the dictates of individual conscience.
