I have to say that I love this guide, but my diet doesn't! I have an insatiable sweet tooth, and now I know where I can find my favorite treats no matter what New York City neighborhood I'm roaming. I downloaded the Dessert Guide on my iPad and really love the map detail. This is the type of innovative feature that makes ebooks worth buying, in my opinion. Overall, the book is well written and includes diversity in the type of establishments that it covers. It also offers great tips, like if a place is good for groups (this is a big plus for me as I hate being overcrowded), as well as costs and what to try. I am definitely going to utilize this book when my in-laws come to town in a few weeks. There's nothing like a delicious dessert after a long day of sightseeing to make a good impression!

Highly recommended for anyone looking for the hot dessert spots in NYC. I live over the bridge in NJ, and hate ruining a hard earned night out without the kids on lousy food. Great reviews, great features, and FREE for Prime members! This is definitely icing on the cake ;). Really great for us who aren't in the city enough to know what the latest trendy dessert spot is.

This was a really nicely done book. The pictures were mouthwatering, and the reviews were very informative and descriptive. My only qualm is that I would've preferred to have this as an app, but it was pretty awesome as a book too.

I went to school in NYC for 4 years and thought I knew all the go-to dessert places.........boy was i wrong, this guide has been such an eye opener. it helped me discover places i can share with my friends, NYC has soo many places to go it's just a matter of finding them
