Be careful when buying from this seller. They mislabel the condition of their books, and then are very difficult to deal with for returns. They sent me a used book instead of a new one, and were very difficult to deal with.

This product was categorized as "Very Good." When it arrived, it had a food stain on the cover. The binding is falling off and is beat up. Also, there is an ample amount of highlighting and writing on the pages. It was categorized very incorrectly.

This item was obviously pre-owned by at least two other people. It should have specified how much writing/highlighting there was. Pretty rough shape for the price.

I really didn't have a choice (the professor required this book) but I must say it is excellent. The commentary and study questions are great.

1Ls at my school hated this book, including me when I was a 1L. Professors have all switched to a different author for incoming 1Ls. It was dry, boring, antiquated, and generally horrible - and I liked my 1L year and generally enjoyed the reading for other classes. Profs should avoid this book, its much better to go for a more expensive one rather than force students to rely on E&Es and other supplements.
