I'm a little frustrated at myself for buying all of these episodes. I just felt the need to finish the season since I paid for all of the episodes. However if I didn't pay for them all at once, I would have just watched 3 episodes and then bounced. I love fashion and a huge fan of project runway. I'm a project runway addict and needed something to hold me over. I watched the first season of the fashion show and while it was no project runway, it was entertaining and decent enough to pay for the episodes. However this season is completely different from the first season. The clothes the designers created on each episode that I watched, were so underwhelming. The judging I felt was just plain awful. Especially in one of the episodes, the designers created potato sacks out of beautiful fabric and made it look as if they were filled with couch cushions. It wasn't creative, or beautiful. There was a designer in particular that was so rude to everyone, including his clients, never won a challenge, yet somehow made it to the final 3. Why? Because his designs were average and everyone else with the exception of jeffrey and dominique were just bad. If these had been the contestants on project runway, Nina Garcia would have literally just wanted to shoot the designers and start the show over with new ones. Then the finale wasn't even worth watching. Honestly I wasn't even looking forward to it. The designers had a week to create 10 looks in 7 days. Seriously that isn't enough time to create an inspiring collection. Barely anyone was even at the final fashion show. It took place where the show did and it looked like maybe 50 people were there including the designers families and judges. This show was was just freaking awful and wish I never would have even wasted my money and time.Read more ›

still liked watching it to see creativity of so many talented young people. Host and judges not as pleasing to watch as other shows

The first season was more interesting. Team challenges are more entertaining to those who enjoy the bickering, ego and arrogance. Whoever comes up with the challenges does a good job. I'm surprised this series was discontinued after 2 seasons but think the change in format caused some of it. Project Runway, unfortunately, has taken up this "team" format for this current season. I'll bet viewership is down because of it.

Other reviews reference the fact that this show is similar to Project Runway, is it a reality show about fashion? yes, but the similarities stop there. To me, Project Run. has more interesting designers and challenges. This show is narrow-minded and stunts the designers creative-freedom by putting them on teams (fashion-houses) and every single challenge except the last one is a team challenge, therefore all the designs have to be similar and part of the same collection. I will give credit to the fact that there are some talented designers on this show, but frankly there's only 1 interesting/dramatic contestant (if you're like me,you do want to see some drama on reality tv)and the challenges get stale and boring. Not a total flop, but I wouldn't buy it again.
