I BOUGHT THIS BOOK FOR MY HUSBAND WHO IS A CIVIL WAR BUFF. HE SAID IT WAS "GREAT". HE EVEN USED IT TO GET QUESTIONS FOR HIS WEEKLY TRIVIA GROUP.

I enjoyed the information that some might find trivial, but it gave me a great background on the generally unpublished research.Where else would you find the costs of war in dollars,the female spies, for both sides, the list of Generals and where they ended up after the war etc:. It doesn't just finish at the end of the war.

This book was bought for a History buff. He loved how he could just simply pick it up and start and stop at any place in the book. Full of interesting facts and trivia. Very enjoyable!
