This book shows how the provision of medicines grew during the conflict. It also shows how many of the pharmaceutical companies we are all familiar with today can trace thier origins back to the war.

If you have an intrest in the medicine of this period then you will find this book a fascinating review of the conflict and the development of medicines that it produced.
