Scale is important for these kinds of bargains as they pertain not just to kids, but big kids like us that are into war games with miniatures.

This barrel of figures is a great find because these figures are good plastic, reflect the uniforms well and are durable.

If I had not started already with 1/32 scale and found these for my armies, I would probably have gone with 1/35 scale, however, there are far more selections in 1/32 than 1/35.

Overall, the other materials in this barrel are great, and I was really only interested in the wagon wheels for use in my cannons from BMC (the other bag of miniatures guys). Their cannons have wheels that are very sad, so using the wheels from these wagons was excellent. If you are into gaming with miniatures, this barrel can definately help esp. for casualties.

The flashing and seams is practically non-existant and these are clearly from a brand new mold; if they did these in 28mm scale, the world would be a better place.

I ordered this product for an 8 year old boy's christmas present. I was pleased with the price and fast shipping. He was pleased with getting specific type of war figurines and all the neat accessories. Thanks for making our christmas special!!

I got these toy civil war soldiers for my husband to teach his students about the civil war. They had a sand box that they made for the classroom and formed Gettysbury landscape. The high school kids really got into the battle, and probably learnt more about the civil war than others kids would have.

POOR QUALITY - Many parts missing or broken, you are better off buying the 72 pc Civil War set offered by the competitor.

My son saved his money to purchase this set. He plays with it often. Our only complaint is the wheels of the cannons and wagons break off and can't be fixed. Other than that it's a great set.
I gave it three stars for durability because the other pieces are fine.

Very good quality,realistic, and durable construction. My 7 year old, history buff,grandson was very pleased to receive this for Christmas.

I bought this set of Civil War action figures for my grandchildren to use with the Roytoy 550 piece building set that I ordered directly from Roytoy. The figures and accessories are perfect for preschooler imaginative play. The only odd thing about the set is that the cannons are replicas of WWII cannon. This is not a problem for the play value of the set due to the age of the children. This is a hit to the historical accuracy of the set. This is the reason for the 4 star rating by me. The chidren would give the set a 5 star rating. I would recommend this set for purchase by anyone looking for an entertaining set of action figures for their children. The price is excellent and are durable enough for play by preschoolers.

There were only 78 pieces sent. It was short changed 9 soldiers each side.
There was supposed to be 2 canoes and 2 tents, but only received 1 each.
There was nothing to connect the horses to the wagons.
They sent two extra cannons, and 4 cactuses not even on the list.
Short 8 horses. Totaled 78 pieces which includes extra pieces and pieces not ordered
at all.

Warning: what you see in the picture will differ in quantity received! You do not get all the pieces it claims. 101 piece set? far from it. we only had 76 pieces. we felt ripped off and the quality is less than average. To top it all off, the price for it is ridiculous compared to what you get.

Bought this army men set for our almost 7-year old son. He really loves it. He has already set up several battles. The army men are very durable, however, where the wagons connect to the horses is not as strong. One of them already broke as our son was trying to take the horse off of the wagon...requires a little adult help putting the horses on the wagon and taking them off. Other than that minor problem, it was a great purchase!
