This mask is tight. I suppose it needs to be to keep the bad stuff out. Its kind a one size fits all since its made of really stretchy rubber. It takes a bit of practice learning how to breathe properly while wearing. REMEMBER to remove the stopper on the filter. You can't breathe at all if it is left in place. A cool feature is that when you breathe in the fresh air coming through the filter defogs your eye glass. Of course when you breathe out they have a tendency to fog up again. Plus it comes with a green military style carry bag.
I feel safer owning a few of these and keep them in my garage. Hopefully me and my family won't ever need them. Pretty cheap insurance.

I purchased this product from Wholesale Automotive Parts and Accessories, and the product arrived within two business days of the purchase. The product came exactly as described and I am very pleased with it. As for the mask itself, it is made out of a stretchy gray rubber material that's surprisingly comfortable to wear, and the brownish O.D haversack also seems useful for other thing besides carrying the Gas Mask. The lenses are very clear and allow for a wide field of view, and an interesting feature is that when you breathe in the mask defogs itself. One must know however that this is a novelty item, and should NEVER be relied upon in a real NBC situation. Another fact is that the filter does NOT contain asbestos, use of asbestos in gas masks ended after 1956 and these masks were not produced until 1970. Overall I am very happy with this purchase, and would recommend this product to anyone seeking an interesting (and non functional) novelty item.

Good quality, the delivery was fast, and it all came through as well, It looks just like the photo. Works well, just remember to take off the black patch so that the filter can actually work or at least take off the filter if you don't want to use it yet, easy to use as well, it slips on and sticks. 5/5 a cheap buy too, well worth it!

I was expecting the shipping to come a lot well, later. This product shipped in 3 days, which was very fast. The packaging was very well fit and wrapped, and there wasn't a scratch on it. Although, this mask was r-e-a-l-l-y small. It barely fit my 11 year old son. You have to learn how to put it on exactly on the right time, same counts for taking it off too because it can really hurt your hair. Overall, I am happy with this mask.



*Note*- Remember to take the rubber plug off the bottom of the filter before you use it. I was wondering why I felt like passing out and dying.

The gas mask was part of my Halloween costume. It worked just fine, except the fact that even though the mask was a size L was a bit too small for my head. But i guess that is my fault:) Shipping was rapidly fast and i got it only 4 business days after the order.

The mask is good, but the filter was dented on arrival and the bag that came with it fell apart quickly, split at the seams. It is hard to get on until you stretch it out a bit. It is much easier putting it on chin first as well. It is a good buy if you are a collector, but don't trust this mask with your life.

I placed the order on July 20. Only three days later, lo and behold, there it was sitting in the mailbox. I give them props to how early it arrived. When I took it out of the box, it contained everything listed. (The Gas Mask and the Carry Bag) The items seemed top quality, without any noticeable scratches or marks. The Gas Mask was the main piece, and it works pretty much how you'd expect. The mask fits on like a rubber glove, but it surprisingly snug after it's on. Just a note, if you have hair it will hurt a little when you put it on. Do remember to take off the bottom safety filter so you don't choke yourself. (And no, the filter does NOT use asbestos. None of the GP-5 filters were made before 1970, the GP-5's filters use activated charcoal.) The mask works how you would expect, and makes a great cheap survival gear or just a novelty item. The bag, well it's what you'd expect from the bag. I like the coloration of the bag, and it's good quality as well. I'd say it's a good add-on item.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase. If you're looking for a gas mask for a Halloween costume, or for air-soft, or just some novelty item when you're on a low budget, I'd highly recommend this.

Got this mask for my bro for his birthday cause hes all about survial gear, and he loved it, not only could it save your life, but you scare the hell out of someone with it, its spooky lookin.
