4.0 out of 5 stars V has key, IV doesn't July 7, 2012
Verified Purchase
V was Steam activatable... IV does not have a product key. Just saying... Still cheaper than buying V at it's current sale price of 14.99 here on Amazon as of 7/7/12. Although, it seems that this pack is only Windows compatible, whereas the V at 14.99 is mac/windows compatible. Just FYI.

5.0 out of 5 stars Two most recent Sid Meier's Civ Series August 6, 2012
By JDR
Civilization 4 is a wonderful turn-based strategy game with support of numerous mods, from reproductions of SM's Alpha Centauri to the overhauled Fall from Heaven 2. Civilization 5, though different in how the game works still stands on its own and with built-in support for mods via the Steam Workshop. Getting both games for lower than either alone just made since.

5.0 out of 5 stars Like IV more than V May 9, 2012

Its Civ.......Amazing, I have always enjoyed Civ as the game is never the same. I still enjoy the interface of IV over V but that is just me.

4.0 out of 5 stars Entertaining July 2, 2013
Verified Purchase
The game remains, at its core, the same one I loaded via floppy disk way back in college. There are more options and abilities to make the play easy or challenging. The graphics are better and the music is much less annoying. A great way to kill a lazy, rainy day.

5.0 out of 5 stars Classic Collection! February 20, 2012

I love this collection. I've played every edition of Civilization since it was first published. Each edition becomes more and more addicting. It's nice to have two versions offered in a single pack. It's not the most graphically intense title out there, but it's great fun!

1.0 out of 5 stars crappy games March 21, 2014
Verified Purchase
I wish I could get my money back. I LOVED CIV 2 but these games are like a different animal and I hate them. I also hate CIV 3, hate it also. The games have been changed so much from CIV 2 they are just aggravating to play now. I deleted all of them from my computer, adios....

5.0 out of 5 stars Two full games for under $10? Amazing! May 27, 2013

Civilization games are a great time killer and history lesson rolled into one. With VI and V bundled together for $10, how could I pass it up?
