I used to like Oldenberg's art more before I bought this video. His art somehow comes off as really superficial when you hear him and especialy his wife (who has become a co- artist) talk about it. However, it is not unusual. Most visual artists SHOULD stick to visual art and not get too caught up in explaining thir art with words....unless they want to switch to becoming writers! His art used to be quite whimsical, now it just seems capricious.Kinda reminds me of Cristo and his sanctimonious wife come to think of it.
