I did not want a fancy jacket. Just from the layout of the pockets, I could tell this was one that I could wear in a more casual setting but still look good. I am a 44R and this jacket fit perfectly. The material is on the thin side but I think you could call it all season. Outside is mostly wool, some silk. Just be aware it comes folded up and you must gently iron it out or have it pressed.
