Have you read anything good recently? If you haven't read Katherine Applegate's books. She has a whole set of books, like the one I read Claire gets Caught. The genre of this book os romance. She has about 20 books of this series in stores. It is about a girl named Claire that dumped her boyfriend Jake at a dance. Now she wants him back, so she sets up a plan to get Jake back, by planning a ski trip. Nina her sister thinks she set it up to get Ben back, but she was wrong. I think this is an excellent book, so read this book WHY? If you are looking for a book right now, this is the book for you! You won't want to stop, it has on and on exciting chapters. I read it all in one day, that's how much I liked it! This is a Qoute from my book: "Are you sure this you want to plan this whole ski trip?" I recommend this to anyone that doesn't get excitement in your books or any one that just needs a book to read!

It's snowing in Vermont, and the 8 islanders go on a ski trip to Killington. Claire plans to use the weekend to recouple with Jake, whom she broke up with. Aisha can't stand how Christopher chats up other girls. Nina goes insane because after she and Benjamin share a date(and a kiss) she thinks that Benjamin has lost intrest AND that her sister Claire is going to try to get him back. Zoey fights with Lucas because he tries to pressure her into sex. A fabulous book, one of Katherine Applegate's best. She knows how to add twists and turns and captivate the reader till the last page.

The book was very good. This is the only book of the series that I own (so far), but I have read it more than once. The author really knows how to keep a reader interested! I admire her for her work. She does truley know what it's like as a teen-ager.

This was a great book because EVERYONE had some conflict or misunderstanding! I can't wait to read the next one! I could hardly put the book down because I couldn't wait to see what would happen next! It kept you in suspense all throughout the book!

The gang's got a ski trip all planned. But things are still crazy. Lucas is pressuring Zoey into sex; Claire STILL wants Jake, and in the process messing up everyone else's relationships; Christopher and Aisha are confused about what to do about their relationship, if they still have one; and something's up with Ben and Nina. How much crazier can this stuff get? Awesome book.

i absolutely loved this book. this book answers the question about how nina and ben's relationship is after the kiss. claire tries to get jake and zoey and lucas might not be the perfect couple you thought they were.

This book is something you will read in one sitting. The adventures the group takes to the ski resort will leave everyone with new issues ans maybe even delimas. Zoey and Lucas have problems, and Ben ams Nina are great. All will keep you waiting till the next book comes out.

Claire is used to having boys chase her, not the other way round. But now she's in love with Jake, who can't forgive Claire for what she did that terrible night when Jake's brother died. Will Claire get what she wants - in other words, will she get Jake? Another brilliant book, where everything changes on a weekend ski trip - oh, and there's an extra twist on the last page.

"Claire Gets Caught" was my favorite book in the Boyfrieds/Girlfriends series. This was the first book which, for most of it, was filled with the teenagers having a good time on their skiing trip. I was especially happy for Nina and Claire, because poor Claire had been going through a lot with Jake and it was time he got over himself and admitted that no matter what he still wanted Claire. Also, Nina and Ben are the perfect couple, and I was glad that they got together because if Nina is going to get herself a boyfriend after what she's been through, Benjamin is the best guy for it.

Now, don't get me wrong, this is a great book, but...Claire has just gotten a bit TOO involved in the lives of her friends and her sister. She's concocted this little scheme for all 8 of the islanders to go skiing. Only three of them know how to ski, and Chris really isn't in any business to go skiing. Claire crafted up the scheme to get Jake back (she dumped him in Ben's in Love), but it won't work if he (or someone else) finds out.
This book will keep you on pins and needles, and it will make you laugh out loud when people start suspecting Claire!
