Color: High Lift Ultra Cool Blonde Blue
I have used Clairol hair color products for many many years and was perfectly happy with it...it was the best ever...that is until they changed to this "Soy 4 plex". I will not use it again. I am now searching for a new brand of professional hair color. It ONLY covered the gray in spots and what it did cover washed out each time I washed it and was completely gone in 2 weeks. There was NO conditioning at all in this "new and improved" product.
I wish Clairol had never ever changed or "new and improved" their old product...they even got rid of the only 2 colors I used and replaced it with one that wasn't even near a match...so not only did they ruin...in my opinion...not only did they ruin their perfectly wonderful hair color, but they took away "all" the colors that I could have used..that was 2 colors in all and they replaced it with color that I have no use for what so ever...it isn't even a "sort of near" match for my hair.
I am sorry to say they have lost a customer that has been truly loyal for almost 35 years! I have no idea of what the Clairol company was thinking...I have always lived by..."If it isn't broken...don't fix it"!!! If I could have given this product 0 stars I would have.

I tried this hair color twice. It hasn't lasted long and it didn't really get my dark roots. It colored the hair in the front well but not the back. not sure why. I know reds are hard colors in general to maintain, but I think I will move away from this brand and try something else.

Since Clairol discontinued the product that I have used for years (and loved). I tried the new soy 4 plex. The color was okay, but my hair felt like a cheap synthetic wig! My hair has always been a source of compliments, even from strangers, until I used this product. Needless to say, I'm looking for a new brand.

OMG! I was requested to register on the clairol site in order to express a comment or concern? Ridiciulous. Anyway, I just finished coloring a woman's hair that I've done for the past 20 yrs. The only change ever was the change that happened today. I used the new SOY4PLEX Ligiuicolor 34D complex. Horrible. Her hair came out drab and dull and darker than its ever been when I've used the same formula for over 20 years. Somebody has to talk to the makers at Clairol to not fix what wasn't broken. In rinsing her hair there was a purplish color in the water and after I finished her hair just felt so pasty (which is the best word I could think of) and so, I actually had to wash it again. WOW! What a freakin' mistake Clairol. You've had years with customers that trust in your product and now I question its result. Don't try to fix what wasn't broken. If you want to change the packaging fine, but don't change what's worked for years! Also, I realized the solution was much thinner, so much so, it kept running down her face. This is a problem.........!

I have used the Complements product for years and always loved the results. Even my hairdressers would comment on how healthy my hair was. Since I started using the "new and improved" product with 4soy plex my hair has been dull and gummy leaving my hair feel like straw. It is horrible! So much so that this is the 1st negative product review that I have ever done. They should have left well enough alone. Time to find a new hair color product.

Color: 6AA/32D Dark Ultra Cool Blonde
Og My Gosh I cannot believe Clairol made the Soy Plex change, it stinks, it is runny. I must find another hair color, should not be that difficult with L'Oreal or Wella. You never change a good thing.

VERY UPSET!

I've used Clairol color for years. The new soy formula is horrible. My hair is fine and was always in good shape with the old Clairol. Now, it is breaking off and feels "crunchy" when it is wet. I'm throwing out what I have already bought and will look for some other product.

Hate it hate hate it, This new product is not an improved product. I loved the Complements line but they discontinued it for this Soy 4plex. It is no where near better or good as the complements. The 4RC is not the same color as the Complements 4RC. Will check out a different line of products from other makers.
