Take note that this suit can be used for much more than ice fishing. I have never participated in that sport in my life and doubt if I ever will...hey, I am just not that fond of setting around waiting for fish to bite. Goodness knows though I have a lot of friends to are crazy enough to love it and they were the ones that put me on to this thing. I do not know how their minds work and feel that any one that goes out on the ice in the dead of winter for any purpose other than to watch birds is out of their minds!
No, I use mine for bird watching, i.e. birding. I was very recently in the far, far north; up along the Canadian boarder and spent three solid days on the shore of a lake that I am quite sure is somehow connected to the North Pole. Yup, spent 8 hours each day in absolute freezing weather, in a high wind and crap falling from the sky all over me, simply looking for water birds...birding is so very much more sensible than ice fishing!

I have to tell you that this suit worked wonderfully. I do not think I could have pulled it off without it. A number of people in the party I was guiding had to call it quits very early in the game.

Even though this suit was on for a long, long time, and at times during that time I was rather active, I did not sweat like a pig inside the thing. It breaths, yet keeps the warm in while keeping the cold out. There are plenty of places on the suit to stash stuff and the hand warmer pockets are a true gift from the Gods.

It may appear to be sort of high end at first glance, but I feel it is the best money I have spent in quite some time now and do recommend it for anyone who has use for such a garment.

On top of it all, it looks pretty good on too...not what you would call sexy or even mildly sensual, but simply "good."

The best suit I have ever worn or owned! And I ice fish every weekend the ice is thick enough to venture on!

Have used out ice fishing and blocks the wind great.Also keeps me very warm. Like all the pockets too, great for storing stuff in.
