I still cannot believe that Endwar has such an amazing voice command system that will pick up on every order your give. You really should invest in the headset bundle to really understand for yourself. Another feature worth listing are the airstrikes and weapons of mass destruction you can call in through your headset to destroy multiple units at once. This game really is a break through in gaming and is worth the extra $$$ for the headset.

I've been playing RTS games since Warcraft 1. Over the years I've been amazed by improvements in physics and general multi player dynamics of the varying games. I own around 40 RTS games. The online side of this game has elements of Cave Dog's world system; you join one of 3 factions (and get a recruitment bonus if you side with a smaller one) and try to take over the world. The online play is not what makes the game though, the voice control is truly amazing... I mumble and it picks me up perfectly. I hope more games like this come out... this is the way a console RTS should be.

this game feels average and too basic, with all the basic infantry, armor, and airborne units. i do think that it was done on purpose to get a player like me to remember all the commands. too many units would be difficult. i have played the game, but i can't comment much because i only bought it for the headset. let me tell you this: it totally beats the $90 price tag at other stores. the ps3 bluetooth came in a bulk package in the box, but it works very well.

I'll be honest I bought this game to get the free headset, as cheap as it was in the Marketplace it seemed silly not to basically get a free game with the purchase of a headset. I tried the game out, at first thinking it would be a pain in the butt to learn everything since it is all done voice command. It's really quite easy, it walks you through it in the single player campaign and before you know you are barking orders like a General and having a lot of fun doing so. It's very competitive and the game is very well put together. Even though you aren't actively shooting at stuff there is rarely a dull moment, you've constantly got something to pay attention to. I would definitely recommend this game, you might not think it's your thing, but I think you'll be pleasantly surprised!

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my daughter who enjoys these type of interactive online games. She loves it!! Can't put it down. She definately recommends this for any gaming library. The included playstation headset puts you into the game and works great! This is one Christmas gift that won't get returned.

It's amazing at how the developers use the resources at hand! You can issue commands easily with a low voice and the headset can catch everything you say! It's so much fun and have to be careful when going head to head online, you don't want to vent a "bad" word to your opponent when its crippling you.... hahahaha, unless you want to taunt! Excellent graphics and at the max resolution it supports (1080i) its like being in a sit inside the game giving orders over to all the troops! I seriously recommend it, with or without the headset, its a lot of fun! You could try and synchronize a bluetooth headset and experience the game for yourself!

I was excited to get a chance to play this game. I was thinking it was going to be along the lines of Command and Conquer. I was sorely disappointed. The camera angles are stuck on a particular unit. You only give commands while the computer executes it. I'd say skip it or if you must play it, rent it first.

THE VOICE RECOGNITION IS PRETTY COOL. I WAS LOOKING FOR A GAME THAT MOST CLOSELY RESEMBLES IRON STORM, FROM THE OLD SEGA SATURN. END WAR DOESN'T HAVE THE DIFFERENT KIND OF UNITS, BUT IT'S THE CLOSEST I'VE COME ACROSS. GRAPHICS WERE NICE, GAME PLAY AS WELL. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS GAME... NOT FOR THE [...], THOUGH. SHOP AROUND. I USED AMAZON AND PAYED $40 OUT THE DOOR FOR THE HEADSET BUNDLE. I JUST SAW THE SAME BUNDLE GOING FOR $[...] AT TARGET. GREAT DEAL.

Tom Clancey's End War feels like the little engine that should but didn't

Those three on their own make this game fun to play for a few hours but the games starts to become very redundant from there.
The voice activated part of this game works very well. One of the reasons I purchased this game was because I figured worse case I bought a headset. The headset is nice and works well with my LG and Motorolla phones. The voive command interface has about a 5 minute learning curve. Also if you have surround sound the rear speakers might give you some small issues until you eitehr tweak the sound or you learn where the sweet spot is to sit down.
The game itself is nice but teh lack of having unit upgrades that actually benefit or being able to upgrade your units while in mission via securing points of interest.... this game starts to feel like a stripped down version of command and conquer with sharp graphics.
The AI is decent but common sense has no play when it comes to your soliders. You say move and they move no matter what is in the way.
I could keep going on and on as to the near misses but I think you get my point.
My reccomendation is if possible rent this game first. It might grow on you or this game might fit your online needs. If you can't rent it then I would say pass. There are a ton of games out there that need to be played before yousaddle up to this one.
