I love this game! It immediately sucks you in and gets your heart pumping like so many Splinter Cell titles before it.

One thing that I love about the format is that they've made it less linear and more interactive with the team that supports Sam. Each team member has their own special kind of side-missions that will earn you money and help you in the main plot.

They've added a lot of great touches like a phone to call Sarah and some good tension between the team members.

I haven't gone through the entire game yet so I will update my review after that but so far I am loving this game.

Regarding the RC Aircraft in the "Multi-Mission Aircraft Edition": It is definitely not a beginner's aircraft. The marketing material doesn't really mention it but the instructions explicitly tell you not to fly it without an "experienced RC pilot" in attendance to help you. So I think I will have fun with it but I wish that they'd been more explicit in the marketing materials that led me to purchase it.

All-in-all I am really enjoying my purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great stealth-oriented FPS.

Let me be clear on this again, absolutely love the game. The plane was a horrendous idea. They should have tried for a cheap quad rotor rig. For starters, I was never able to get it to even lift off the ground. Ive been using the throttle up and chuck it into the air method with perfect success. The plane is highly unstable and highly uncontrollable. With only one control surface for pitch, yaw using terrible vector thrust to one motor or the other, and zero control of roll..... you basically have a plane that is constantly and literally all over the place. A small breeze of wind will take it right out of the sky. To make matters worse, the whole thing is styrofoam, and assembled in too many pieces. A few crashes, or hard landings is all it takes to make every part of the aircraft loose. After about 5 flights a nice turn or a little bit of wind in a turn can take the wing tips right off in mid flight. I shouldn't have wasted my money on this. The Youtube videos show just how unstable it is. At this point I only got 2 full charged trips to the park with it and its in shambles. If I want to try to fly it again, I will need to crush a much larger roll of tape to secure every part of it. I should have been smarter about that. For the record, I have 3 other planes and 2 helicopters and have experience flying up to 6 channels.

I'm not the best at shooter games, but thought I would give this one a try. I'm not a bad rc pilot and thought this would be an amazing deal for an airplane. This plane will not leave the ground on takeoff and flew ten feet in the air long enough to fall hard to the ground on a hand launch. I thought I would be optimistic and ignore the negative plane reviews, but head my warning! If you want a crumpled foam plane (that looks cool and doesn't fly) with two broken wings, buy this plane. If not, save your money and buy something that flies!

Back to the original Stealth Splinter Cell. You can still go loud, but that makes it harder as the enemy will be alerted.

Beautifully packaged and presentable. Everything you need to fly is included. The plane, while not indestructible, can take a lot of abuse as long as you're handy with foam safe glue and some cheap grey paint. So far, i ran mine into a light pole, into the curb and lawn darted from a strong gust of wind and it still looks great and still flies.

In my experience, i have better luck taking off from the ground but you need a lot of runway, just like a real passenger jet would. Throwing it is a gamble because of its high wing loading. Jets dont have the prop wash that propeller driven aircraft do so you hve to get enough airspeed into the wind for a successful handlaunch.

All in all a wonderful value. If you have the patience and some rc experience, the plane flies beautifully.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist Paladin Edition is a solid Limited Edition. The actual Paladin Aircraft is a nice plane to fly around. The comic Splinter Cell Echoes is a great introduction to the characters as well as a great read.

The actual game is amazing. In my opinion it is truly a fantastic story. It is my personal favorite. I believe Blacklist is the best Splinter Cell to date, amd Eric Johnson does a great job taking the reigns from Michael Ironside.

Got this for my nephew. He loved it. It is very cool that the plane actually does work, but he plans to use it as more of a collectors item. Which is why the gift is so good. The plane itself doesn't fly well, but if you can manage to get it in the air it is nifty. Landing it though, unless you are a hobby ethusaist, will probably break the plane. The game is fun too, if you like Splinter Cell and Metal Gear Solid type games.

Of course I love everything Splinter Cell related…
Only wish this was plastic, thus more durable than foam. Although I understand the weight limits to make able to fly.
Waited a Long time to buy this when it was finally on sale. Would not pay the full $150 original price of course.
I was very excited to see the price come down to Finally make purchase.
Love it :)
